It first starts with a lighthearted banter leading to desaster

until the downfall of Kronii and her drift into madness

She goes with the flow but seeing Kronii's MC obsession the last weeks this breakdown is probably not completely kayfabe. MC burnout incoming

My recollection is that the glasses pic was almost certain to be her, and the more recent of the two known pics. She doesn't look fat in that one.

She also parcels out a hamburger over a couple of days, so I doubt she's particularly chubby.

No, the fat pic is definitely confirmed her. People tracked down her family members Facebooks. It's old as shit though, from when she was barely a teen. Not a good measure of what she looks like now. Anyone saying that's recent is 100% wrong. The pics had dates.

Newer stuff is up in the air. One of the pics was attributed to one of her online personas from a gig she did. So unless they got the wrong pic, I'd say that's probably her. Still not 100% though.

Iirc, someone said that one was also touched up in photoshop. I don't know how though. There are two on her I've seen, that pic and one of her with red hair trying to look Asian. I'm not sure if the second is really her.

On the not-recent ones, there used to be a slideshow of very old pics of her on YT but I don't know if it's still up or how I ended up on it. She wasn't exactly fat but wasn't skinny either.

E: The Senzawa from TikTok with tattoos, nice legs, etc isn't her. Just someone using the name.

I would be amazed if it is kayfabe. Kronii's zenloss consists of her diamond tools, which is prolly mined by her instead of buying from villagers so the loss hurts even more.

She is still new to Minecraft after all. She will get used to it, maybe after researching on how to get easy diamonds. I don't think her tools were even enchanted.

Considering her admitted dark sense of humor, I really hope she really doesn't take this to heart too hard. She seemed fine with her, "Guys, it's just banter. No worries" spiel at the end of the vid, but you can tell for someone like her it's easy to put of a front that may not be accurate.

I think it was only shown once or twice, but the way bottom of her bunkeronii someplace she's got a strip mining operation set up at diamond height. She'll be fine.

Mumei and Fauna are pretty high on the look department (more than Kiara and Calli IMO).

Have we seen Fauna? I've seen body shots where she keeps her face covered (similarly to the original Kronii pics that were found), but I don't think I've seen a full shot of her.

Also, on the schedule for tomorrow. Expect this stream to be a riot.

I haven't heard all holomem speaking English, but out of the talents born and raised in Japan I would say the best is... Haachama and A-chan? Not counting the obvious winner, Sakura Miko. Basically..no one really knows what she looks like right now haha. From her personal stories, could be true or false, she used to down McDonald's like nothing, then she ate vegan for a while. So it adds credence to her being a chubby kid and then losing a bunch of weight.

If the drama from a while back regarding Kizuna Ai where it was believed her seiyu was changed is any indication, people will leave in droves. But to answer from my own perspective, if instead of Graduating her, they replaced Amelia Watson's voice actress, I would stop watching immediately and become very skeptical of Cover for such deception. The character itself is brought to life by the personality of the actress behind it; it would be very soul-less if the actual person behind the avatar was swapped out.

Imagine if Gura was swapped out and the beginning of this transition was like "A! Apex Predator of Hololive English, Gawr Gura here. I'm feeling very hydrodynamic today! Shahahahahaaarrrrk!" Such a shoe-horned corporate recasting would make my brain drain out through my nose.

Agreed. I would probably stop watching her. Say they replaced one of the least popular ones and they got a more talented, girl which is more engaged with her audience and happens to rack up the views. Sure you could say its a positive thing but the fans will feel it. Even Anya which has a fairly low subcount still has a bunch of dedicated followers taht would resent the company for doing that. A better way to do this is to just have the talent graduate and hire another girl with another model and get her to fill in that spot. The original fans wont resent the company and they will probably just move on to a different girl (maybe even the new one).

I guess maybe they could pull it off without to much backlash if was super early and they didn't have much of a following or fanbase. Like if within a few weeks of debut, Kiara had a total meltdown that got her fired maybe they could just hire someone else to play her.

I gave this a think because at first glance it seems reasonable. Then I remember how people lost their fucking minds over Aloe. Redditards were making 10 paragraph posts with hundreds of upvotes about how - crying and shaking - depressed they were to lose Aloe. All that emotional investment in someone in such a short amount of time - while being thoroughly creepy - does tell me there isn't any amount of time people would tolerate this kind of hypothetical swap.

My question was purely hypothetical, and I really don't think anyone will be replaced, but Gura is THE face of Vtubing. Also, probably one of the most marketable anime girls in America. Letting that go to waste if she quits would be a massive loss, so they would probably do something about it.

I wonder if they would try to artificially create a Gura-like "new mascot" character if she does leave. Maybe even introducing a character who is "Gura's long lost sister" or something dumb. They could also try pushing Ame or someone to the front of marketing to have another cover girl (no pun intended).
