Southwest airlines forum raided by 4chinz

Pilots by law are not allowed to strike due to the The Railway Labor Act until the airlines have exhausted all administrative steps which could take years. So the best way to protest immediately and have a big impact without having to wait if you are even allowed to strike would be to call in sick.
Ignoring a major factor. The laws restricting these actions are enforced by the same authority implementing the cause of the strike.

This is the factor people are missing here. This labor dispute is not with the Company. It's with the GOVERNMENT. Looking at the situation charitably, American Corporations have become middle management patsies to the true management. The Federal Government.

The Left wished upon the monkey paw for Government to be the manager instead of private owners. Now when Labor goes on strike, it's not due to to Corporate excess. It's due to GOVERNMENT excess.

Power to the People.

wow okay, that's a lot
Yeah, the number is in the thousands. Both the airline and the pilot’s association/union (?) are claiming that it’s not a walk-out and that it’s solely due to weather issues and FAA warnings that for some bizarre reason only seem to be affecting this one airline. So in the name of fairness, we don’t technically know that it’s a strike or a mass termination or a walkout - we just know that that’s sure as hell what it LOOKS like.

Making the rounds on twitter:

Southwest has 8,500 active pilots. Commercial airline Pilots are not permitted to fly a plane more than 30 hours a week. There are 168 hours in a week. You need 2 pilots per plane. That means that to keep flying, you need 11.6 pilots to keep one plane in the air 24/7.

Southwest has 8500 pilots and 718 planes. That equals 11.83 pilots per plane. If you have 718 planes and they have turnaround times, and 1085 flights get canceled on the same day while over a thousand get delayed, how many pilots quit? At least half.

They have more pilots than they need to keep 718 planes up - and they used weather as an excuse while at the same time United and American airlines only had troubles with a combined total of 35 flights.

Seriously, once these vaccine mandates force the termination of 20% of the work force, think about who the remaining work force are going to be. Remember that old saying about how 10% of the people do 80% of the work. Do you think that 10% are going to be terminated or still employed? I'm not sure I'd want to be flying for any reason any more.

Unlike retail wageslaves and patty flippers, the people leaving this kind of skilled labor aren’t easily replaceable, especially when double-digit percentages of them all leave at the same time.

Another aspect to consider is that unlike unskilled labor, where you’re mostly paying for a body to be there stocking shelves or bagging groceries or wiping floors, when you lose a skilled worker, you don’t just lose their work output - you also lose their years of knowledge and experience working at the company, and have to train a new hire up from scratch, which depending on the job could take weeks, months, or even longer before they’re operating at the same capacity as the person they replaced. If double-digit percentages of people leave at the same time, you might not even HAVE the personnel required to adequately train and mentor the replacements.

If the government actually tries to enforce a broad mandate, it will destroy the economy and result in the highest unemployment America has seen in decades. Personally I’m quite looking forward to it.

I think the best thing about this is the person reporting about it all. "Life threatened by an ex-navy seal" is by itself great. Getting called rabbi more times than they can count, pretty good. Being told they will never be a woman, probably for no reason, probably got 1 or 2 troons seething.

But the best, is the sender. LavonAffair. Layers deep.

And, they won't be eligible for unemployment insurance. No better way to suddenly spring up an alternate economy and a massive number of people no longer invested in the existing economy and existing structures.

Oh no, it's FAR worse then that. Government Gibs already took the dead weight out of the work force. The people who stayed on were the ones who held a sort of social responsibility with work. These people were subsequently overworked to pick up the dead weight while shat on by their lazy peers who took the benefits and ended up making more money in 2020 then the workers did.

And then came the final insult. Saint Fauchi and the Feds said they could take the masks off. A few weeks later the mandates were reimposed and made more severe. Now not only did you have to mask to work, you also had to get the jab to work.

It was an insult too far. These people in the restaurants, grocery stores, airlines, buses, dock yards and so on put their necks on the line for society. In recent months they've been worked to the bone while their peers have collected thousands of dollars while not working. And now a senile old man says they need to obey the corporate overlords and do as they are told.

No. Atlas is about to Shrug.

Wrong. The Wh*toid is about to be replaced.

What evidence is there that this is actually the handiwork of "white nationalists and far right organizations"?
None whatsoever, which far exceeds the stringent standards of evidence required by modern "journalism."

Must be nice to be able too afford skipping out on work because their feelings got hurt.
Being highly-skilled and experienced in an industry desperate for competent employees? Fuck yeah, it's great! It literally means you can skip out on work when your employer shits on you since you can walk across the street and sign on with a competitor who isn't currently shitting on you.

I mean sure, my kiwifarms account is new, because I mostly lurk. But I've been using 4chan since before kiwifarms was even created.
I know it's cringe to call this an "Anonymous" attack these days, but it is, in spirit. And I remember things like the scientology protests. I guess they used to go outside back then.
