What are you playing right now?

I've been playing through Dai Gyakuten Saiban. It's a good game, but if you like unresolved plot points then this game is for you.

Doing another full Mass Effect playthrough. Trying my best to not "game" this one (always do Paragon/Renegade; answering in the way that results in the most gameplay/best possible outcome) and to answer how I would in that situation, based on my Shepard's personality. I just blew through ME1 - I've never been a fan of the gameplay and class design compared to the second and third games in the series and so I just moved through it on a low difficulty to get a save with all of the decisions I wanted.

Just finished the Mass Effect series, and right now I'm replaying Pokemon Sapphire because it's kind of mindless and I can do it in between laundry loads while cleaning the house.
I usually game with my partner (sharing the controller, or one of us playing while the other watches). She's overseas at the moment but when we're both home we're going to sit down and finish replaying Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and The Last of Us. :)

King's quest. I just finished exploring the world and filling my map.

Gonna be playing Prison Architect tomorrow once the 1.0 update drops, hoping to try the new mode wher eyou try to escape from your own prisons, preferably without using the easy as piss method of just tunneling out.

Also just reached my 30th win in Blood Bowl 2, with a W/D/L record of 30/14/22, which includes about 7 losses by power outage during the last heat wave, so I'm somewhat chuffed about that.

Having a Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town kick lately, so I started a new game.

From the way you're describing it I honestly think maybe you should take a break from Mass Effect. Since at this point you're trying hard to not do something the game specifically wants you to do to make the game more "natural".

Eh, I'm actually having a lot of fun letting things flow, trying to "roleplay" my responses a bit and not worry about game-y things like making sure I have enough Paragon/Renegade to smooth over the Jack/Miranda and Tali/Legion fights or trying to time the Illusive Man missions so I can do everything and still rescue the ship crew from the Collectors. It's not a perfect playthrough - people are going to die in the Suicide Mission. But for someone whose first response to fucking up something (character dies, lose loyalty, etc) in a game like this is to reload, this is a nice change of pace.

I'm playing Infiltrator through both 2/3 and am trying a new playstyle, so that's fun as well. This is the first time I've played the series in a couple of years - it's not like I compulsively play them.

This kinda sounds like fun, actually. Personally I don't know if I could bring myself to knowingly let people die in Mass Effect because I am too attached to my crew, but it would be kind of interesting to see how things panned out without worrying about doing everything "perfectly". Sort of related: I made myself play Dragon Age II recently as a mage with absolutely no offensive spells apart from the basic attack because I decided the character was an extremely pacifistic healer and while it didn't really affect the choices I made re: loyalty missions etc., it was interesting to see how a different mindset affected my experience of the game. It's fun getting new perspectives on old favourites!

Something I do actually like that Dragon Age 2 did was it changed the mechanics of the conversation system in a really neat way.

In Dragon Age Origins you were essentially intended to be a sychophant. Every party member reacted differently to the player's actions and conversation options so you were expected to just say the correct things to that party member each time. This is the case in a lot of rpgs.

In DA2 though I really liked how there were alternate benefits. Like you could agree with everything they said, but if you disagreed it lead to building a "rivalry" meter which gained them different abilities. And lead to different romance dialogue. I really liked this because it encouraged agreeing and disagreeing with your party members as opposed to going through the same responses over and over again.

I finally downloaded Ultimate Apocalypse. I had to google around for different faction mods just to play it but the mod seems really cool so far.

I didn't mention it, but I finished Batman: Arkham Asylum (100%) and have also started & finished story mode of Batman: Arkham City.

Nothing more satisfying than deepstriking every baneblade variant on top of the enemy base while your conscripts rebuild faster than they die.

Disgaea 5. Tons of content and you can pretty much get the Hulkster as a party member. So yea I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
