Employees have taken their grievances to internal forums and Twitter; at least three were suspended for crashing a meeting, then reinstated following outcry. Now the company is planning to host an internal event with trans activist Alok Vaid-Menon; meanwhile, employees are planning a walkout on Oct. 20.

Netflix shares lots of company data, including salaries and quarterly results, with employees as part of its culture of freedom and responsibility. It does so on the condition that those employees don’t share financial results or the performance of individual titles with the public. Much of the ire over the special isn’t coming from viewers but Netflix’s own employees. More than 1,000 people have called or messaged the company to complain about the special in the few days since it was released, a person familiar with those metrics told Bloomberg. That’s more than “Sticks & Stones,” but smaller than other big shows, like “Cuties.”

Funny how Netflix employees didn't care enough about Cuties to stage a walkout and leak internal metrics. Seems their priorities are completely detached from the interests of Netflix subscribers.

The trans employees have to realize that this drama reflects terribly on them, right? There are tens of thousands of hours of content on Netflix, much of it offensive to one group or another, and no other group of employees has raised this much hell about anything. They're melting down with unique sensitivity and leaking valuable information that Netflix likes to hold close to the chest. This is not an incentive for Netflix to sink more money into trans content or employees.

That's one of the things I dislike about this community. It's always the gays, the blacks, or the wimmins fault. Heterosexual troons (aka the "transbians" and Gaydens) were never a part of the LGBT alliance. Everyone knew transvestites were fetishists and Gaydens didn't even exist until roughly one generation ago. The very reason why troons appear to have so much social capital is because to most people "transsexuals" are extremely effeminate gay men and butch lesbians who can appear at least superficially viable in a cross-gender identity. They cannot conceptualize hulking "gynosexual" troonbians or pube-bearded "gay transmen" existing in the first place. They're the victims of their own visibility, though. People are starting to notice them, and they peak pretty much everyone who has to deal with them.

We're talking about people who, during their annual pride parades, dress up like dogs and piss in each other's mouths. Fetishism and pushing sexual extremes were always central to gay shit, and they politicized their sodomy long before AGP transvestites began to present as not perverts but "real women".
Now they want to act like they're innocent humble queers who only want to have wholesome consensual relationships in the privacy of their own home but it's too late. They created this monster and now they have to own it. It's a shame God promised he'd never flood the earth again.
