I wish Pippa would be a bit more careful. Not because some narcissistic faggot trying to win pity by whining about being bullied by text isn't worthy of being told to neck themselves but only because this sort of shit does get people kicked off YouTube and Twitter. Something about telling someone to commit suicide, even as a clear joke, makes Jack and Susan go apeshit with the banhammer. Would be a shame because her content is all golden.

I remember her telling someone to kill themselves during one of her F.E.A.R. playthroughs, only to scream "...in Minecraft!" immediately after. So she is mildly aware that she shouldn't blurt things like that out. But, y'know. It's Pippa. Uncontrolled blurting is expected.

I think a good amount of art comes from aesthetic understanding, and it's a skill that's kinda transferable. I'm not saying if you're good art drawing you're good at 3D stuff, but there's a higher likelyhood for it, and there's some choices that do transfer as well.

Ina is just incredibly talented in general.

I read through the Utopia discussions some more and found that the mod team is basically quitting because Uto is just playing a character and isn't a pure angel IRL. What in the actual fuck.

Edit: Id understand if you became a mod and found out Uto was some fat ugly bastard behind the scenes, but getting upset because she's just playing a character and is actually menhera is some next level faggotry.

/vt/ hates bae but, when she isnt being too crazy she's pretty good. She's great in collabs. I think of all the gens she's the one who puts in the most effort to reach out to everyone. She and mumei are putting in work to break the ice and get people socializing.

And, I don't think Gen 1 are awkward around each other but, collabing on stream whilst playing a character is kinda hard. Plus, they're being forced too and it isn't natural. It's naturally out of their comfort zones. But, then, what do I know? I could be wrong.

Not to be a stick-in-the-mud but she probably said this about her last group of friends, too. 'I have finally found people who understand me!' but the difference is that her and her fellow HoloEN members are on top of the world right now. They're all pretty equal. They cannot 'use' each other because they've all already made it. There's sadness in that fact too. I don't think they would be malicious if given the opportunity, either, by the way, but you can hopefully see why it's not a watertight statement.

Similarly — and I'm not sure if her recent song was referring to DemonDice — but none of them truly 'made it'. They were all chasing something bigger and only Karen caught it. It's sad and unfortunate they couldn't be happy for their friend. Jealousy is a bitch. But that doesn't mean they're bad people, either. And it certainly doesn't mean they were 'using' her because they were in it together until they weren't.

I've been thinking about Calli — or rather, Karen — since I first heard her new song. I realised even her more poppy songs have a tinge of deep-rooted sadness to them.

Being an artist is a lonely endeavour no matter what form it takes. One of the first things you're taught in University for writing novels are techniques to 'free your mind' and begin jotting down subconscious thoughts; and more often than not you'll end up writing uncomfortably personal thoughts and feelings that serve as the base for your concept. It's very weird, but very real.

You can tell by Calli's entire creative process that, even though I won't go so far as to say she is a 'troubled' person, I do think she finds inspiration in tapping into her wealth of sad memories and insecurities.

With that said, I don't think it's necessarily appropriate to say she's finally 'found friends' because our understanding of her life exists solely through music that is crafted specifically to focus on the sombre and negative. It's mostly just that IRyS and Council aren't as totally hopeless at communicating whilst streaming so it's easier for her to interact like a normal person.
