The price goes up exponentially depending on how good the rigger is. I believe she said a while back that she spent over $100k to get this model made and it shows.

I really like the design too, she finally feels like a yakuza again
$100k seems pretty expensive. I thought good l2d is just around $3k-5k. What is the rates for brian tsui L2d again?

I can easily see $10,000 with the quality and the speed it get done (don't know if she contact Yaman in March when she decide to graduate for real, or only after she formally announce graduation on June 9th), but 100k is way too much. I do vaguely remember she talk about the cost once, but it's so long ago and on a random topic. I think she just said she spend a lot and don't give exact number.

I missed the fun drama while asleep it seems.
I'm glad SBK_Tanya explained the joke to Tenma.
I don't blame Tenma for getting upset; she cares about Pippa.
But I did find a /vt/ and/or /pcg/ out in the wild over the comic:

I still cant get over how good Ksons new L2D is. This this rigging is just unreal, it actually has a 3D neck movement while still being 2D. Live2D really has come so far in the last like 2 years, it was rather basic and just used to move pictures about slightly, now the limits of it are insane, hell there is even reflection of the monitor in the glasses if you look when she turns.

I'd like to believe if you are already well experienced in rigging L2D you can make some serious money at the moment, the sky is the limit.

Watching the debut stream right now; I hope this ends up being a big wake-up call for Cover and Anycolor (especially Anycolor, having their rigging in-house means they have more control/responsibility for it) not to get too complacent with their model quality, this shit makes most rigs, especially corpo ones, look like an amateur embarrassment in comparison.

Pretty hard to do. Till this day kizuna ai still has the best 3d model . Holo and niji don't even get close. You know why? Because they can focus on one talent thats not the case for holo/niji they can't really focus on a singular talent.

And at the end of the day a decent l2d is enough the one who will carry the stream are the people behind this avatar afterall. Theres no use for this godlike rigged model if you are boring you know.

Edit : lets say cover/anykara hire this rigger how many years do you think it would take this dude to do every members of holo/niji?

Let's not forget that the artist also has to design the avatar with rigging in mind, consisting of numerous layers so that when it moves the transition is fluid.

Not saying every single model has to be at that level, just that they should be aware that the world's advancing pretty rapidly around them, with this being one of the most visible examples, and that not adapting could wind up harming them.

Pretty sure some governments still use COBOL for some fucking reason
Really old systems with tons of critical data (so no "down time" allowed) that they're not willing to spend the money on to transition (which would take forever) to a modern system. It's literally an "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FUCKING FIX IT" situation.

I earlier posted pics of the artist Baloolax whose drawings are very Junji Ito inspired. For spooktober he started a Horrolive series where he draw all Holo Myth members. He finished his last piece of Ame and will release a big collage with all members later on. They turned out really cool

That creepypasta smol ame is perfect.

Limited supply with high demand means top-of-the-line riggers can demand top dollar. And they're all well aware of the amount of cash top-named chuubas rake in. If you're a big name like KSON, riggers know you're raking in the cash.

Watching CUBEGAME announcement stream to see what anime girls will do with it, how low i have fallen

Edit: they are going to add fucking FROGS to the game, 500 hours hunting for the golden frog streams again

Edit 2: practically a new type of wood that grows in water, mud, frogs, fireflies, new location the deep where you get a weird new cube that respawn mobs you kill, the guy even said that it was precisely created to make mob farms, another cube that sounds like you were in Amnesia and leave you blind for a while, and the cooper golem got cucked

I don't think that they can upgrade the server to the new version of the game since it's a big one, the world generation is completely different
Supposedly is not that hard with Paper that is what they are using right now, they passed a long of time iirc stuck on 1.16 was it? the only thing i remember is Haachama and some other girls weirded about things like Soul lamps then they upgraded to 1.17 to 1.18 without any issue

AFAIK Holo Server is on 1.17. And 1.18 is the the version with the height changes that dose effect the entire world generation. I know initially they said beforehand people wouldn't be able to upgrade their worlds to the new version, but this was before they separated the Cave & Cliffs update which is now 2 parts (1.17. & 1.18.) I think they are trying to make it so it is do-able as there is a SHIT tonne of current worlds that people would be pretty pissed to never be able to update again.

Anyone seen Botan's secret menu from her food stand? She's a true apex predator.

Speaking of Botan...

This is only the second time I've ever heard her get this emotional (first was Coco's graduation), but the 1 million is well deserved for the FPS La Lion.
