You mean Verizon? Part of that was because they banned NSFW content entirely from the platform despite it being used by a lot of NSFW artists. You ain't kidding, but you got one part of that wrong: Verizon only banned porn in the last few months of their ownership of Tumblr. It was a desperate and clueless attempt to salvage their stupid, stupid business decision. Executives were telling people Tumblr was going to be the "new PDF." As in they expected the site to be so popular and widespread that people would replace all their PDFs with Tumblr posts. That's the level of delusion they were operating under.

Verizon inherited Tumblr, it was purchased back when Yahoo was still independent. Yahoo's CEO was a Google plant and former worker (Employee #20) that was sent over to obliterate the company and did it very effectively.

I will autistically point this out every time the Tumblr porn ban is brought up.

Tumblr banned porn because Apple booted them from their App store due to the massive amount of CP posted there. Their diversity hire engineers could not competently scan uploaded imagines against the NCMEC databases so they came up with a shoddy algorithm that attempted to identify every penis, tiddy, anus, and vagina, and even then that failed. Something I didn't know until reading this article is Tumblr was banned in Indonesia due to it's massive amounts of CP content.

EDIT: after a quick investigation out of boredom, I could not find which one of those affiliate forums has that particular policy. Most of the sites have some kind of generic copy-pasted ToS and google search only directs to that furry's post so I'm calling bullshit / extreme cherry-picking.

That's more what I'm interested in out of all this, what the aftermath looks like. No doubt some are going to try to colonize other communities. To be honest I don't even see what is wrong with that policy on a hobby forum.
If I go to a hobby forum I want to read posts that are about that hobby, not endless tranny shit or far-left retarded opinions over and over.
