It'd be interesting to know the dimensions of the wound she's packing. She should definitely keep track; she's probably going to be using more and more gauze as time passes.

I don't think she's correct that replacing the sutures would damage the tissue; I think they're leaving it open out of concern for infection. Not as bad as a stinkditch, but that's a rough area to heal.

If they're really trying to save that fake dick, I wonder if VAC therapy would be the way to go. It'd encourage granulation in the wound as well as stabilize the meat stalactite to help it win its fight against gravity.

There's no way that hole is staying shut, it's like a piece of material- one it starts it's just gonna keep tearing. The sad thing is that it's probably not the original surgeon's fault. I mean, you could argue that it's their moral responsibility because they agreed to mutilate a mentally ill woman's genitals, but if you look at it from a purely medical perspective, the surgeon's technique is not the culprit here. He flayed her arm, rolled it up into a flesh tube, and stitched it onto her crotch. Could he have done something differently on the operating table to prevent this complication from happening? Doubtful. From what I could gather, she kinked the main artery by sleeping with the newly-unwrapped faux-lus somehow squeezed between her body and some other object.

Just saying that her chances of winning a malpractice suit are pretty much non-existent with this chain of events.

I feel like approaching this topic with anything other than mocking humor will just push someone with gender dysphoria further towards this shit. It's incredibly sad because as soon as these people go through with the surgery and mutilate themselves it's beyond the turning point and you can't come back from that.

Even if the infection doesn't have time to spread to her bloodstream, the hair bologna could become infected and she probably wouldn't even notice something is wrong. Signs of a localized infection are heat, redness, swelling and often (but not always) pain. She has no sensation in that thing, and if it becomes warm to the touch she might just believe it's healing SO well.
