It bugs me that Jorge didn't even make mention of the Joanna thing being a signal hijack, he even makes mention of the Max Headroom hijack in the next segment. It makes more sense then any other theory he stated. He said "It could have been an early form of an alternate reality game" ...ffs.
Max Headroom happened in 1987 in Chicago, two years later you get the Joanna Lopez broadcast in 1989 also in Chicago then again in 1991.

That would actually explain everything, including why the hell were they showing missing person poster late at night when no one is watching TV. And also why she looks like a grey alien in a wig.

I wouldn't be surprised if the reddit post wasn't original either, but it predates Mr. Ballen's video by a year.

He also co-founded a talent agency called Elite Meet for former 'elite' soldiers. His channel always seemed engineered in way, like they had an algorithm or recipe to make a successful channel, which doesn't match the simple 'Seal turned storyteller' narrative but makes sense with his business background in talent agency world.

I don't get how people actually believe this creepypasta tier shit that TV channels were reporting people that don't exist, missing.

Occam's razor. I can come up with a simpler solution in less than a minute, specially concerning the "I couldn't find this person on databases" argument:

Maybe some of those old cases just weren't as well documented going into the digital age, and/or were possibly even solved back then?

Boring, sure, but makes more sense than AI testing as suggested in Delgado's case or hijacking a signal to share a fake missing person's alert.

I dropped it after he started doing a bunch of unrelated videos and seemed the story went nowhere, also Nathan turned DAD into a brand so he most likely wants to milk it by prolonging the story to the point people lose interest.
Edit: Dad deleted every single tweet, except a retweet of a vtuber

Maybe it's just the shithole where I'm from, but the extensive record keeping and online database thing really feels like it's American exclusive? I was honestly shocked when I learned you can simply look up someone's details in the USA and essentially get an entire backlog of legal information. That's why for the longest time before I got into the whole lolcow thing I couldn't for the life of me understand how doxing worked, because in my country you can't just access official government documents and cross check information lol.
How does it not make sense to people that maybe, just maybe, in the years before the internet was a widespread thing and in a country with as shitty law enforcement as Mexico, there's no additional information on a missing person's case because no one bothered to archive shit?

Listening to it right now, despite the annoying sips he does, I'm glad he's covering the Mandela Catalogue. He's explained a few things I missed already. Good watch if you want some clarification and theories. Still, he can use a better transition between thoughts and talking points besides the sips, but considering the audience he is mainly catering to, I am not surprised nor am I holding my breath he will change.

Wendigoon is a nice palate cleanser from Nexpo and PlaugedMoth (for the time being at least), so I disagree there.

But yeah the sex boat one was pretty good.

His girlfriend's the editor, she makes the final cuts and I guess she thought it funny.

I'm only like a third of the way through it because lol church, but I was liking what I saw. Though I just can't take the Alternate humanoid forms seriously because it makes me think of Oyasumi Punpun.
