What I find unbelievable is that a lot of people don't know that there is a very specific clause within US law that makes certain type of drawings illegal due to the subject matter it represents and why the public opinion against Shad shifted, because he screwed himself over by being ignorant of said clause.

Here is exact quote of the law:

"Images of child pornography are not protected under First Amendment rights, and are illegal contraband under federal law. Section 2256 of Title 18, United States Code, defines child pornography as any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (someone under 18 years of age). Take special notice in the highlighted part, that's the point when Shad crossed onto the realm of the illegal when he made those drawings depicting Daphne Keen and Kemmstar's daughter, by definition he produced porn of identifiable minors. The whole "it is just a drawing" defense no longer applies.

I'm just glad to hear that the forced meme that is Shadman is finally over. He's never been anything but a leech on that newgrounds group. His art is insanely bad even if you completely ignore the edginess. His website was carried by the people who were submitting things to it as opposed to his own shit. He almost ruined every SleepyCabin episode he was in.
I don't blame a group of edgy cartoonists for not disowning another one for making tasteless content, that would be hypocritical. But, I still have no idea how they managed to endure him if any of the sleepycabin stuff (about his mom and the way he behaves in general etc) represents reality.

The letter of the law is clear, if it is a pornographic depiction of an identifiable, actual minor, then yes it would be illegal. It could be argued that the child depictions on those portraits are rather cartoony to make a one-to-one correlation, but if the names and clothing are intentionally made to imitate a real-life counterpart (as the adult characters are one-to-one parodies referencing real people), then plausible deniability goes out the window.

Like what the Hell?! The people making this stuff are asking for trouble. Just stick to fictional characters.

Yes the covid test looks to be negative (Although from what I remember from taking that same test, the sample line is blue and it turns pink when you put the solution in alongside the used cue tip. It looks blue in the picture so perhaps it was unused when the picture was taken) but I’m more interested in what the letter reads.

I can read parts of it but I don’t know if anybody can read more of it. The picture quality is very crunchy.
