The Australian totalitarian megathread - She won't be right mate.

Fantastic I'm going to be stuck at home for the next year minimum.

It looks like we'll be settling down for a prolonged lockdown whatever the vaxx rates. Dan's plan to 'open up' when we hit 70% double jabbed is to maybe lift the curfew and perhaps have outdoor dining for the jabbed only, everything else will stay as is. Great. Incoming Panjeets and travelers from NSW get to come and go as they please however because science.

At least flee the Victorian Democratic People's Republic dude

Or you may have hope in that the Labor party just got a round of fpcus groups done and really didn't like the results, given the mad scramble to exit lockdown ASAP

What most of you are missing is that, despite these utterly disproportionate draconian measures, most Australian citizens are supporting the actions.

That's very true. Boomers en masse support restricting everyone else's freedoms and autonomy, if it means Boomers might have a slight chance of living a little longer.

Yes. While I don't believe in polls it's the boomers who've been the biggest supporters of the current insanity. God I wish all of them would take their fat diabetic arses and die already.

I'm thinking about it. If they continue to keep me locked out til Christmas I'm fucking off to NSW. Yes it's not that much better than Victoria but at least I can work and go out. The missus has decided that she doesn't want to work in a Covid ward and has handed in her resignation so only family is keeping us here.

Anyway I think you might be right about the focus groups. A lot of traditionally working class voters are very pissed off at being forced to take the vaccine. The idea that it's just the far right that are against the jabs is a complete lie. I reckon Dan may have a bit of a problem on his hands and the unexpected opening today., while still total shit, is way way more than he was talking about a few days ago. I mean I get to go to a friends house and not be breaking the law because I don't have a vaxx pass! Thank you Dan!

What has me fucked is that Cucktorians KEEP VOTING FOR LABOR! They fucking LOVE Dan Andrews! "Govern Me Harder, Daddy!" should be the State motto.

Has there been any mention of when unvaxxed can freely travel back and forth between VIC and NSW? While I don't really care for it, I have need to go to VIC every now and then.

Not too happy with Perrottet allowing the vaxxed to no longer wear a mask at work while the unvaxxed need to continue it as it basically gives away who is and is not vaccinated in the office, and from my experience those places are political and toxic enough as it is, and this decision will pit them against one another. Not that it affects me, but i feels for muh unvaxxed still in the struggle of fucking office work.

Besides the cop then I mentionned in an earlier post. there's another cop who decided to quit the force.

There are few democratic governments that have been so capricious and petty with the power afforded to them by COVID-induced fear as Australia, a nation that has locked down China-style over a handful of cases and where local officials berate, shame and brutalize anyone who dares protest the measures.

Take Daniel Andrews, premier of the Australian state of Victoria. His state has mandated 1.25 million “authorized workers” must get a COVID-19 vaccine, according to Reuters. After protests in September, he called the “ugly scenes” things like “appalling” and “unlawful,” according to Melbourne’s The Age.

“Whether you want to call it a riot, affray, ugly scenes, you can scarcely find a word to adequately describe what we saw yesterday,” Andrews said on Sept. 22.

You could, indeed, scarcely find words to describe how Victoria has responded to protesters, although probably not in the way Andrews meant it. Here was the scene a few days after that at St. Kilda’s Beach in Melbourne as police even-handedly dealt with protesters using the lightest touch possible. Or not:

It’s gotten bad enough that, on Oct. 4, Sky News described Melbourne as “the world’s most locked-down city.” On Oct. 2, it’s worth noting, Victoria recorded only three deaths and 1,220 cases in a state of over 6.6 million people. While lockdowns are set to be lifted next week, according to Reuters, it’s unclear what that’ll mean — or how long it’ll last.

It’s not just the citizenry who are sick of how Victoria’s police are handling this, either. On Friday, a Victoria police officer went viral when she resigned effective immediately and gave a wide-ranging interview describing her disgust with how the state government — and Premier Andrews — is violently suppressing protesters.

According to LifeSite News, acting Victoria Police Sergeant Krystie Mitchell — who had served for 16 years — said there were hundreds of her fellow officers who were getting to the point of resisting orders they considered unethical.

“The consequences of me being here today, is that I will be resigning from Victoria Police, effective the end of this interview because the consequences of me coming out publicly would be dismissal,” she told Australian digital media channel Discernable.

On the ABC they were discussing case numbers. The models predict that there will be a big jump in a few weeks after NSW and Victoria opens up due to 'silent spreaders'. That is vaccinated people catching Covid and only experiencing mild symptoms. This will be news to the majority of normies who've been told for months that once they're jabbed they can't catch Covid.

I'll give some props to Dan, he's completely open about the fact that mandates and restrictions on purebloods are there as a punishment for refusing to get jabbed. This is of course horrendously illegal but no one cares least of all the courts.

So yes your non masked co-worker is far more likely to spread Covid. Even better they're only allowing the vaxxed to visit nursing homes, Best hope these rapid antigen tests work as advertised.

Double vaxxed, Victorian. Dunno which pub I'll go to on Friday. We'll see. Thank God, this nightmare is over.....
Melbourne has over 1500km of cool old stormwater tunnels, maybe start shopping around for some place underground? That way you'll know your new spot once your DNA breaks down and you become a mutant sewer person

I'm sorry I provided an alternate viewpoint here, sweetie. You'll bend to the NWO soon enough, though.

I don't think telling us about your weekend plans counts as a viewpoint. Or if you've posted in the thread previously I guess it wasn't memorable? Anyway, have fun.
