Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

lol fuck the Anglosphere. Mexico or further south even. Imagine what we could do if we took over Belize or Guatemala, and while Belize is technically in the Commonwealth they fucking hate it with a passion.
Aye, some of the places to look for are developing countries which prefer having knowledgable people moving in for investment / skills. There are several sub-Saharan African countries where English is widely spoken as a lingua franca or an official language with a dynamic enough economy (wild west style, even) that are willing to help expats invest there. Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, or Zambia (but definitely not South Africa or Zimbabwe) are places worth checking out if you wish to expatriate and are entrepreneurial. Belize of course is another, as are South American or Caribbean states like Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia and Chile (Chile might be a mixed bag though, they're having a weird constitutional crisis iirc, any Chileans here who can elaborate?). Eastern Europe, Russia or the Caucasus (Georgia has an excellent business environment) are also viable options.

Edit: I'd throw in Guyana but we all know what happened the last time a bunch of American expats decided to set up shop there...

Edit 2: To simplify, if you have to settle in an Anglophone country, the best places to are (ironically) the non-white majority ones. Go to the developing former British colonies. The business environment tends to be a lot more dynamic, investment-attractive, skilled expat-friendly, open to creative types and they're culturally a lot more conservative than any of the big 6 (UK, Canada, Australia, USA, New Zealand, South Africa - though the last one is nuts for different reasons). Make it known that you're willing to put in the work to invest in whatever community you land yourself in, and become a pillar your new adopted home. Assimilate and contribute. Don't be the first world country-club type who goes there to mooch off the lower cost of living and ''enlighten'' the locals.

He "bounced back" NOT through business, but by acting, playing a successful businessman for "The Apprentice."

More fun facts: Trump has been in over 4K court cases; he routinely refuses to pay vendors, contractors, employees, etc., because he's so fucking cheap. REAL businessmen, successful real estate tycoons, for example, don't have to go to court thousands of times (no one in real estate has even come close to that count), guess why? That's because they pay their vendors, etc. Which is good business.

I know why Trump is richer than I'll ever be, and it's all because of his father. I'm a better businessman than Trump; I've run a business without a single default or court case or bankruptcy.

That's not bragging, you could randomly pick any Arby's franchise owner, and they'll likely be a better businessman than Trump. It's not hard.

Trump gamed the bankruptcy laws to bounce back. He then used ”The Apprentice” to secure free publicity (and more money), while still having passive income from his real estate holdings.

Trump is cheap as hell, I’ll give ya that. All businessmen are. They all want the most bang for the least buck, this is considered normal. Don’t forget that Trump has constant income from renting out his properties, which pull in millions of dollars per year, and is the main reason why he can afford to try so many things out.

If you’re so good at running a business, then you would be richer than Trump. You would have the money to back it up. You don’t know how many of those court battles Trump won, how many of those people weren’t paid because they didn’t deliver as promised, or didn’t read the fine print because stupid. Blaming his inheritance for the fact that he’s always ahead of you is idiotic. What about Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos? Are you going to blame their parents as well? What about Sam Walton, Notch? What magic trick did they have via luck that you could never acquire?

Remember that the only reason Trump lost money after becoming President for one term is because the entire Democrat Party went all in on ruining him. He’s still standing, his businesses are still running with profits, and Last I checked, random Arby’s franchise owners weren’t featured as the big shots in the business world, so they probably couldn’t even handle that kind of pressure, much less the pressure from running billions of dollars worth of real estate.

Yes, you have to be willing to integrate into their community-take Belize for example. English is the national language but the natives sound like Jamaicans so you have to learn the local idioms. There's a substantial Mennonite community who also speak German (that doofus Poeterring is from a Mennonite community right across the border in Guatemala) as well as expat Guats who left during the worst of the civil war and and native Mayans who speak their own language. Then there are expat Brits and Americans but they are hang out in resorts and adjacent towns. I'd pick Belize simply because of the language and legal traditions, which, as an American made me feel at ease there in a way I never felt in Mexico or Costa Rica. People were laid back and friendly too, in the small town i was in anyway. It was the one place I didn't want to leave out of all the countries I've been in.

"Elections are a poisoned chalice". Frankly, I am not sure you could -pay- me to be a politician proper. Your friends and family will hate you, everyone below you is waiting to backstab you to get your spot, everyone above you will see you as a completely disposable cog, the intelligence agencies constantly spy on you and feed your info back to interested parties to pad out their budgets.

So no different than being merely competent in this day and age? I mean even families are getting on the pure envy train when it comes to being related to someone that can get shit done and this current admin is full of people that want to punish you for doing things they cannot.

What is it with anyone even tangentially related to government fucking pedos?
Jesus christ it seems to be a requirement to be a chomo to work in DC.

Assistant to US House Sergeant-at-Arms charged with possession of child pornography

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – A 41-year-old man, who is the assistant to the US House of Representatives Sergeant-At-Arms, has been arrested and charged with ten felonies related to the possession of child pornography.

The investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) was notified of a potentially illicit image being uploaded to a Dropbox account. NCMEC notified the Northern Virginia Washington, D.C. Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of this CyberTipline lead. The owner of the Dropbox account was determined to reside in Fairfax County.

Local Detectives were notified in August and assumed the investigation. Detectives executed a search warrant on the Dropbox account and discovered additional images of child sexual abuse material.

Subsequent search warrants led detectives to the identity of the owner of the Dropbox account as Stefan Bieret, 41, of Burke.

On Wednesday, detectives executed a search warrant at his home and recovered multiple electronic devices.

Bieret was arrested and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.

According to CNN, Bieret has been employed by the House Sergeant-at-Arms since at least 2004.

What did Brandon ever do to these people?

Its Chicago, so its not too far off from London since Lori Lightfoot looks like she crawled out of either the Thames or Westminster. But more seriously, gag orders are definitely crossing a line.
Him being a union president has to make this an extra big no-no on the judge’s part. Illinois hasn’t gotten rid of collective bargaining agreements, right?

Assuming this isn’t a fake, what is really interesting is it seems to be talking about the signature lines in government official’s emails. So perhaps some leaf put Let’s Go Brandon in their email signature?

I've seen plenty of very online Canucks that have incredibly strong opinions about American politics, despite being able to do fuckall about it. Same for lefty Euros.
