The leech term is just the pathetic way antis have to brand underperformers that stick or are friends with cashcows, Kanata got it when she was still larping being coco lackey, Moona got it when she befriended Pekora, and poor Holostar got it after the among us collab with ID

Now that I remember and is something that has been bothering me so I want to rant a little about is that the only one that I have seen not getting the tag for some reason is Anya, she is the weirdest holo I have ever seen, some believe she would be one considering her situation , being overshadowed by Ollie and Reine, having barely any clippers, and literally being invisible in a already obscure branch of HL but instead is like she know about it and just refuse to stick to any of her mates for at least a meme pairing , rarely collab, all her senpais had to tell her to at least try Minecraft so she could play with the rest of the group, thing that she did.... Like almost a year later

The tl;dr is that she doesn't want to be called a leech but her way to prevent it is hurting her in the long run

Anyway, she is surprisingly more native than I thought. Although I should note that the irl name doesn't seem "islamic" as it is Indonesian. Islamic names always borrows from Arabic or Turkish counterpart, atleast based on my research and experience.

Just a note to anyone passing through, the site isn't great. They don't do any investigative work, they just collect and catalouge, not perfect but it makes it a little easier. The one nice thing is you can see the past lives and their old twitter and instagram links so you can do your own searching. And yeah agree to both of you, it was the easiest image to answer the previous question and why I added my own tidbit about the whole leach thing. She's about to hit a million in a few more months so that's exciting. That doesn't happen off leaching, just pure good ol' hard work and talent.

Because she really doesn’t need to do anything. She might not be as popular as her genmates, or EN, or even some Holostars, but her being able to hold an audience of more than 500 people consistently already puts Anya in the top 1% of streamers. In retrospect this makes her being Gura’s first out-of-gen collab all the more remarkable.

Still taking a break from streaming on her main account, but she had a karaoke stream on a 600sub backup account at the start of the month.
She got a proper diagnosis for her mental condition/disorder. She has spent the last couple months playing with her doggo and randomly popping into the discord for Apex and Amogus games with her fanbox.
She is heading to Tokyo today (18th) for roommate plans (literal roommate, traveling to talk with the friend she is planning to move to an apartment with).
The last time she was in Tokyo for this, her plans to move out got derailed by her mother's hospitalization, but she's giving it another go now.

Spoiler: TLDR - 16 year old cat is very sick and most likely won't survive. Will take a break to watch over it.

Her cat don't eat anything so she cancelled last stream and took it to the vet. The doctor said it have heart and lung problem. Since it's already 16 year old, they can't operate on it. The doctor pretty much can't do anything more than giving Rushia some medicine and told her to take it home and monitor its condition, and hope that it will respond well to the medicine (PS: It never will. It's the vet subtle way to tell you to prepare herself). Since she live alone, she'll take a break to take care of it. That's all.

Thank you for saying that. Vtubers are hundreds on miles behind on the livestreaming "meta". Barely anyone has editors. Barely anyone makes edited "highlights" of their streams. Do you know how much money big streamers like Asmongold, Destiny, Ludwig make off of their Youtube channels where they post "highlights". They make a fucking fortune. I blame Hololive and Nijisanji being Japanese and them being the "first" big vtuber companies and them being weighed down being Japanese and how slow the Japanese are to adapting. Now everyone wants to be the next Hololive and just copies them instead of following the normal western model of Twitch streaming/content creation that has worked for far longer than Hololive has been around.

Another thing that's the fault of Hololive and it being Japanese is how awful most EN vtuber's hours broadcasted are. The vast majority of HoloJP's viewerbase is in ONE timezone so they don't need to stream for 6-8 hours to hit multiple timezones. They just need to stream for 2 hours in JP primetime and they hit everyone while an EN vtuber that starts at primetime PST misses EU completely and large portion of the East Coast. There's a reason many big streamers start at midday East Coast and stream for 6+ hours. They hit primetime in EU, East Coast and West Coast.

this is why i try to give a chance by try to watched her, in the end of the day it still gave me more confusion?? because, from the previous statement that she barely use Indonesia for chat turn out not true, she is if the moment just right will talk in ID, but she is not like Ollie or Pikamee where when they talk something they will translate it in a different language

I can't find any funny moment along her stream, yet the chat very much enjoy her and somehow they like the Idol Manager game.

all I can say, she has a benefit with being under the radar because people too focus on Reine about her being the rich kid among the ID mem, hecc even among the other member.
BUT Anya actually seems to come from a mid-top class family, the fact she casually drop in on of her stream that she used to visit Malay, SG, or Vietnam (I believe) just for shopping is something. not to mention her Japanese is way too impressive

I guess streaming is not something she considers to be a serious job. so she doesn't need to care about being the lowest sub number, or maybe income, since cover still not bother with numbers.
