General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Speaking of which, is there any more news about the HoloAlt? They've been too silent about it, isn't it?
Start of September they tweeted that the next chapter of Fubuki/Mio/Ayame manga is out "soon", other than that nothing much. Hopefully since it's chapter 1 it'll be a bit longer than chapter 0 which was only 12 pages.

Edit: English chapter 0 if anyone missed it. Was more of a teaser for the rest than anything.

If she's feigning interest, she certainly did her reps before doing so, and those costumes aren't low-effort.
It isn't unlikely for her to get interested in Hololive considering most of her stuff is weeb shit already lol!

But yes, precisely, her costumes aren't cheap dollar store cosplays, she is pulling her weight!

Only posted because Ina cute.

Her RE8 play through was great. She already knows the plot of this one, though (she's said she's watched other people play through it), so I'm curious to see if she'll try to feign reactions and how she'll deal with spoilers.

Tenma just cried at the end of Journey. Which is good, as I don't trust anyone who doesn't get a little emotional during then of it. Also the Chad who went through the game with her was revealed to be named kanpainiki, which is the name of her community.
This girl is so genuine, I love her to bits.

Kiara should definitely try and relax a bit about her numbers, but given her past and the amount of shit she’s gone through, I can’t exactly blame her for being concerned. Probably brings back bad memories.
I wouldn't blame Kiara, but I think a paradigm shift would be healthy for her and could lead to less doom posting. She obviously has some sort of anxiety or self-worth issues but they're not going to get better if she sees any dip in interest in her channel as a sign of failure. There's macro issues at play that she straight up can't control and people will naturally tune-in and tune-out depending on personal factors in their lives. If she sees this as a reason to improve or course-correct, that's a great way to approach the issue, but she can't expect everything to work out because of the effort she put in.

I just hope that she can find value in the success she's already achieved, because it'd be depressing as fuck if she looks at her time in Hololive as a failure beause she was chasing some impossible standard.

She needs some therapy, even a weekly session would do her some wonders. Maybe having a friend on the inside could help a lot as she would be able to openly talk about her job, maybe reaching out to Choco would help?

I think if she was still in Japan and around some of the Holomem’s it’d be a bit easier to get her out of the mindset, but I imagine being the only one in your time zone and everything is being a bit rough on her.

Hopefully she can move on from obsessing on the minor details, yeah.

I have a better solution.

My parents didn't sign the permission slip to this feels trip.jpg

The /fit/ method, just deadlift and squat away all those negative thoughts. You'll still be depressed but at least you'll be absolutely swole. (not sure how messed up her neck and spine is though)
