I don't know why the covid app takes on this data, I can only assume it's because it takes the file/record of 'me' from the venue and whatever is on there is on there. Why that data is on there and where it is generated from should be what we're looking for. Blaming covid might be an excuse to hide something more sinister. Give me all of the rainbows.

Eh, the actual data doesn't seem that worrying, it's a record of where you got your shot. So if it was at a union hall, you might be a member of that union, same for a church, etc. The gov't likely has way more granular data about you already.

If you got your shot at your local protestant church, the church location would be recorded in the app (as "Protestant Church, 123 Some Rd, Some City, AL or something like that).
It's not that they're going out of the way to find this info. If you're going to a protestant church to get your vaccines, it can be reasonably inferred that you're a christian of the protestant variety.

I'm not defending the system, just stating how they would be able to attribute your name to a belief based on where you got your shot.
So the lesson here is to go to your local planned parenthood and get it, that way they think you're an abortion worshipping liberal.
