What are the odds that a company/whale would reach out for Phil to play a game that just so happens to coincide with exactly the thing he's been dunking on for years and professes to despise, at a time where contributions have been at an all-time low and Phil is complaining about he's not going to "change who he is" in order to fix the problem that is his low visibility on the YouTube platform.

But the most logical conclusion is that it's a sponsored stream and not DSP lowkey being a jealous narc.

If not sponsored, looks more like he is trying to be spontaneous and ironic to try and spice things up with his channel due to the low activity recently. He probably thinks he's being hilarious by playing this shit game and may be able to milk the viewers/whales. He can also shit on the other streamers and make fun of the typical streaming culture since he's so different and a man of the people with his "prolific 13 year legacy".

If this is an attempt to milk the whales it's not going well so far. And this includes his drama-filled prestream that was a whole big bag of nothing.

Unfortunately this would only work if he was actually entertaining. But he is not entertaining. A good streamer can make the most boring / bad games entertaining. But he can't. That's why he is always relying on the hardcore gaming season whatever the fuck that means. Not every year has exceptional games.

But on another note thank you Phil for this massivew khantent bomb. We are only 193 pages away from the platinum page number. Keep it up!

In addition to the tips, I think its more about the "look at me, I can be spontaneous and different!" But as mentioned above, typical DSP style low effort in making actual meaningful change. He probably thought of this genius idea randomly while adding those new wrestlers to his roster last night. I really think he believes he's being funny and ironic.

This stream had inspired me to come up with a new game concept: Ebeggar Simulator 2022.
You go on a YouTube knockoff and beg for money, but there’s a virtual gacha game as a side game. You can use the in game currency you get to upgrade your ebegging scam or buy more and more condos. But the win condition is to be the best at the gacha side game, which would intentionally be made into an impossible task.

He did. He was so shit he is the only person I've ever seen or heard actually get bankrupt in this piss easy game without doing it on purpose.
