He won't. He never will. I think Lori would've either left him or suggested an open relationship by now, but she can't find another guy able and willing to financially support her. What does she have to offer? What support would she give to her partner? How would she improve their life? What does Lori bring to a relationship?

No other man will go near her. At least, not one attractive enough for her ridiculous standards. She's fucking Usagi Kou. She isn't supposed to settle for an average guy, with an average apartment, who drives an average car to his average job, which provides average but stable income. Doesn't matter if he has decent looks and a great personality. No, in her mind, she's entitled to more.
And Kevin? He's convinced that Lori is the best he can do. He's an abused puppy. His views on relationships are horribly skewed, and no one can get through to him that this is not normal or healthy. His former friends already tried and failed. He doesn't want help.
If anyone leaves, it'll be Lori, and that's only if she can find someone else to suck resources out of. Taking into account her fading looks, lack of income, lack of life experience, lack of professional skills, and shitty personality, there's a very slim chance of that happening.
She might get one date out of a desperate, pathetic, insecure bastard who didn't check her social media and has never had a girlfriend, but even he'll run for the hills after meeting her in person.
