I honestly think lived adult experience is just a thought experiment to these people. So everything started with protecting weak individuals from violent men, but now they are protecting violent men, which ironically means even the weaker individuals that were used as an argument aren't protected anyway, cause instead of being moved to a place away from the man that were hurting them, the men are being shipped Right Along with them.

That shows that those groups don't give a shit about any past MTF rape victim. They wouldn't give a fuck about any abuse victim, it's all about making the narrative proceed and suppressing anything that makes them look bad. It also shows how old trans people are the second most hurt by the new tumblr era "if you say you're trans than you're trans" group (first being women of course, but the irony of using a group's past marginalization as a shield while being responsible or assisting so much of that group's current suffering is astounding).

As a fan of the original Shameless --the first two seasons before James McAvoy left, anyway-- this really fucks me off.

The gay characters in the original were handled so well, and really didn't shy away from some extremely uncomfortable realities; the twink stereotypes pictured above look like the most design-by-committee shit imaginable and the dialogue follows suit. Glad I never watched this trash.
