Honestly, the Dems are already practically guaranteed to lose the house with Biden's approval where it is now. They'll probably lose the senate too, but don't quote me on that. The only question is: how much liberal asspain will there be in 2022? The hint to the answer to that question lay in what Biden's approval level will be going into the mid-terms.
If he manages to get his approval back up to 45, somehow, we'll see standard amounts of butthurt. If Biden's average approval is in the 35 to 40 range though, well, maybe consider investing in some shares of stock from the company that makes Preparation H?

20% can only really be achieved if Biden orders the army/NG to shoot at BLM/climate protestors when they get a bit too uppity for Uncle Joepedo. Would Biden enacting Australian or Vietnam-tier levels of lockdowns make 20% achievable? IIRC, with Vietnam's lockdowns, people were forbidden to leave their houses to get food, and soldiers were enforcing the said lockdowns.

I’m gonna go with “it is physically impossible to physically enforce lockdowns that draconian across the US”. The US does NOT have enough soldiers, NG’s and policemen to enforce a “nobody is allowed to leave their fucking houses” lockdown across the country, and that’s not even counting the number of states who would immediately go “fuck that shit” and refuse to comply.
If he TRIED to seriously enforce one, with armed soldiers and cops guarding the streets, then I could see it leading to a legit violent uprising.
I don’t see this happening the way things currently are. The US has plenty of domestic food production, the shortages right now are caused by ships stranded off the coast that can’t unload their cargo fast enough. We’ll likely lose easy cheap access to certain food products, but without another major happening I doubt America will fall into famine.

Shouldn't she include at least one picture of herself spending time in her district, with our people, and supporting her community? Why say that you're going to be a leader who does all that for the people and then not highlight yourself doing that for the people? Is it that hard to pose at a foodbank or dress up as a katamari and have passerby roll her at parked cars or whatever counts for community outreach these days?

Biden being able to do such lockdowns would depend on if he sent out checks to people on a regular basis so they didn't have to work. Main reason that wouldn't work is the way the US has done checks is using the unemployment pay system which means just handing over money to the states to let them handle it and people on the state level would fuck around with the rules enough that he wouldn't be able to do the checks indefinitely even if he wanted to.
I figure Biden's issues at the moment with polls deal with gas prices, food prices, and whether there's ever an end to the Rona hysteria. The gas and food is out of his hands since that deals with private businesses needing to get back to normal after the shutdowns and Biden shutting down the pipeline, so the biggest issue is the Rona for which Biden has no solution that'll please everyone. He can keep blaming unvaccinated people for the virus still existing, but it looks sillier and sillier when much of the country is getting back to living life normally.
Meanwhile people on the left are pissed off because they've been fed propaganda that suggested 100% vaccinated societies would have no more Rona around or at least no more hospitalizations/deaths. There is no point they'll be happy and say Rona is over as a problem. You have the security theater still continuing with masks in schools and among those working in customer service, which all helps perpetuate this notion that in spite of vaccines that there's still a major problem.
Biden could please a ton of people by actually investing in infrastructure, but that wouldn't enrich the right cronies so that's off the table. Or he could get rid of people's student debt, but that doesn't enrich anyone he knows so he'd never do that.
So Biden is left with Rona as the main issue he's left to try and 'solve' so as to make people happy with him, but with no realistic way to do it that won't piss off the vast majority of people. Because the guy can't make the NuFlu go away and he can't convince people that have been living their lives normally that they're plague spreaders that are killing off the rest of society.
