General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Maybe its not Niji and its someone else.

I hope so, because I'd like to see the two of them get to collab, but I am pretty sure that she's probably talking about Pomu. To my knowledge Pomu is the only outside vtuber she's talked about the possibility of collabing with recently. Also, her describing the rejected collab partner as someone she feels a "connection" with is the same kind of language she used when she first mentioned Pomu on-stream a while back.

If Pomu was the rejected collab, it's probably not due to seiso issues but due to HoloEN simply not wanting to give NijiEN publicity. JP is different because the two agencies have big fanbases there and a history of interaction. HoloEN however has a near monopoly over the EN fandom (just look at how this thread is mostly dominated by Hololive). A Kiara-Pomu collab wouldn't change that, but why rock the boat?

Does anyone have any info on how active hololive management is? I would think it's their job to give the HoloEN girls events, and stuff to do, but all the cool stuff I've seen them doing is all fan supported or an original idea from one of the girls.

Maybe its not Niji and its someone else. Has Kiara hinted on wanting to talk to anyone else? Maybe Holostars? Hukepapa? When it comes to collabs HoloEN seems to be the most restricted out of the 3 branches. Japan constantly collabs with artists, Nijisanji and other groups. ID collabs with everyone and anyone. EN is basically relegated to very restrictive JP collabs, ID (because management doesnt give a shit), once a year a high profile streamer or artist outside the company and with each other.
Maybe, though I'll be honest I kinda jumped the gun on the idea that Holo EN isn't allowed to collab Niji EN too quick. And from reading the others' posts here I started having second thoughts that it could be anyone else and not someone like Pomu from Niji EN.

Tenma's been streaming the last four hours playing League of Legends. The origin story of how she learned English was watching her favorite movie Die Hard for three months without subtitles and using a dictionary to understand it. One hell of an origin story.

J: How many times have you watched Died Hard?
T: 3 months

Has any of ID girls reply to this tweet?

There were responses.

Went the check and she vaguely stats that the collab was shot down by management and won't be saying who was she wanted to collab with. Timestamp 2:48:11

Edit: I want to say this: So what, does this mean that Holo EN can't even collab with anyone from Niji EN at all but Holo JP and Niji JP can collab just fine? This is kinda disappointing IMHO.
Am i dumb or what? She's been vocal about her management issue but in this timestamp I don't think she specifically said she got turn down by hololive management. It is possible that she got turn down by the vtuber or whoever she wants to collab with or the management of the said collab partner no? I can see hololive management blocking TTS dragon collab or veibei though.

So im guessing Tenma is going to be playing more games with the OTV and OTV-adjacent people. Didn't Pomu and Finana play League with Scarra some time ago? Phase Connect / Nijisanji collab inc?

In Karen's own words, it's because taller people have tormented her all her life, especially as a kid.
There is a weird correlation in Hololive between liking short people (or kids) and having big breasts makes you think

Far as i know Management do this things

  1. Approve schedules
  2. Screen shit they recieve for reviews (like room reviews)
  3. Ask for game permits in regard of the talent, this is in a case basis, when they have complete blanket permits like for example Nintendo or Square they just notify and the company say "ok" most of the time, they also ask permits for indies even when they dont have to (example Devolver digital that apparently got so annoyed that had to create that website)
  4. Moderate the chat, yes they actually do that, thanks to Sana for giving us that tidbit
  5. Do all the logistic crap for single talent merchandising/stuff like for example singles, for company wide things like concerts that is another level of management
  6. do recommendations for content, this is very odd but it has happened
  7. carry their sorry ass when they suck at games (Enma)
  8. Do low tier tech support (proof: when the new system of membership renewals dropped, Rushia did not know what to do and called her manager that explained it to her)
  9. Approve collabs with third parties, between the company is just a matter of schedules between the persons involved, but like people has said here is weird how some can get all the collabs they want (Roberu, Suisei) and others get fucked to hell for no reason (Coco, all EN)
  10. Being secret waifus because reasons

Thanks for being the best place on the interwebs to chat about chuubas, except when you're pushing exceptional rrats.
Agreed,I know I’m late but I just had a thought.

I like the Unofficial Hololive Discord but I don’t like how it’s a hugbox where not even Artia gets shit. I appreciate this place because it allows open discussion including hate, allowing us to truly dive into our thoughts on someone. In a way it feels more authentic. And I value authenticity a lot.
