It’s weird how someone didn’t even leave a hate comment*, but just said that they preferred an element of the older version over the new one, and Autumn still took offense to that. It’s not even them saying that she did anything wrong, they only expressed their own personal preference. Also, I can’t tell if the reply to her was one of her coomer fans trying to cheer her up or some random guy dicking around. I’d like to think it was the latter.

*On the topic of hate comments, just to play a bit of devil’s advocate for Autumn:
I get how despite having thousands of supportive fans/followers, it can be frustrating to encounter the occasional hate comments left on a tweet or post of some new art. Despite what many popular creators may say, the comments can and sometimes do get to them. Just recently, William Osman put out a video to vent his frustrations and let other popular creators share their thoughts:

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with venting those frustrations every so often. However, it’s an entirely different story to confront random hate commenters for the fans to dogpile on, and to constantly tell followers about suicidal intentions, only to later pretend it was a false alarm and it didn’t just happen earlier. The thread’s gotten to where it is today not because of the wonky artwork alone, but because Autumn never learns from her terrible behavior. Whenever she gets called out on this, it’s always empty promises on improving, only for nothing to change as the cycle starts anew. By this point, it’s all become very tiring and predictable.

This looks like discount Hazbin Hotel, with a sprinkle of the Adam’s family and Undertale, plus an extra dosage of furry and fag.

In all honesty, it looks like she saw the trailer for Hazbin Hotel, wanted to do that too, and made her own version “with extra soff gays UWU!!”
The premise is horribly bland, “hidden relationship, bUT OH NOEZ! the main character hides the relationship with GASP an abUSIVE ASSHOLE???!!!11” with humor that relies on “aWKWARD AND QUIRKY LULZ” it just seems so….uninspired.
But then again, that’s perfect for a Netflix series, so who knows.

Even if you’re “just an animator” online etiquette is still important, and I’m sure that your employer/boss wouldn’t like seeing you complain about how bad some cartoons are. It makes you look very pompous, especially if you say things like “I bet I could do better than this dumb adult cartoon and make a show about cute lesbian dogs blah blah blah”.

And even putting all that aside, she's emotionally unstable and is collecting mental illnesses like it's a competition. I couldn't think of a person less mentally and emotionally qualified to work with professionally than her. She'd be a nightmare.

How she could even entertain the idea is beyond me; anything even remotely considered challenging causes hours long "breakdowns".

Now I'm imagining her pitching her cartoon to some sort group of executives and throwing a massive autistic tantrum the first time one of the execs critiques it. Just picturing it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
