Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Yes. In fact, I know for a fact they were. Several portions of the infrastructure bill have sections meant to funnel money straight into both the media and sites like twitter. I have been reading through work materials provided to me of it, but the thing is massive and I am relying a lot on my coworkers sending me interesting bits because reading the entire thing by myself would take... about a month.

You missed the forest for the trees, imo. The issue isn't our lives versus those of puppies, its the absolute disregard for living things, the cruelty, the desire to inflict agonizing pain and make animals who cannot fight back suffer, and expect to be praised for it, that proves our point that to him, human beings are barely one step above those poor creatures. It's a warning, a portend of what may come if psychos like Fauci are allowed to dictate human behavior.

Disturbing aspect many seem like they're overlooking is the puppy torture shows Fauci has a habit of funding projects in other countries that have looser regulations or more lax enforcement of regulations. It's pretty much a way of bypassing US laws/enforcement regarding how to conduct studies.

Okay, but passing a bailout would require significant political capital to make sure everyone can agree to it. What can Manchin and/or Sinema get promised to have them vote for it? Especially Manchin, given the burning, mutual hatred West Virginians and Silicon Valley elites have for each other. Who is going to get the wheels greased, especially given the nationwide cries of "Fuck them" from both left and right, the latter because of censorship and the former because of a lack of censorship?

I read a sci-fi story a while back named "Nemesis" or something to that extent, and while I doubt the scientificness of it, they had gravity have the opposite effect while going FTL, as in it repulsed mass instead of drawing it inwards. Ended up being the MacGuffin that saved the day, but I thought it was an interesting flip of a known concept.

This is likely tied to a common refrain, that of "the only way FTL makes sense according to what we know is if there's negative mass somewhere in the universe." So Negative Mass would imply Negative (or Anti-) Gravity, I guess?

I'm sure this will in no way backfire and I'm sure any kind of right wing protest in the future that involves arrest won't devolve into shootouts since those involved will know they are being held as political prisoners and have nothing to lose. Same as if Rittenhouse has the book thrown at him. The quote is "always offer a beaten enemy a way out". That could be an honorable surrender, a retreat, some way to avoid a fight to the death that may be pyrrhic for you. In this case, the way out is a full 1984 forced conversion. Soy-scented tears will stream down your cheeks as you win the battle against yourself and start loving Big Brother. Trade all honor, all sense of self, of right and wrong... but avoid dying in prison. Remember, these people are getting the full Abu Ghraib treatment, if not worse. The problem with police is the same problem as sportsball. The players aren't locals. Why the fuck should Ngubu Mugebwe care about playing for the D.C. Child Molesters any more than playing for the LA Baby Rapers? Police don't give a fuck in most circumstances because they don't have to deal with neighborhood backlash if they fuck up. This is partially why they are trying to federalize police more, they know that if a fed does some heinous shit he can't be shunned by the community if he can just fuck off back to DC.
