Nitrofox is a bit slow, but kudos for finally recognizing something that a normal person would identify the first time it happens rather than until the thirtieth time.
I love how Louis was given every social cue telling him to pump the brakes with the "teasing," including being explicitly told to stop, and deciding to double down instead.
And go to hell, Louis. A person deciding not to talk to you for being needlessly cruel is not being "vindictive." You're not a victim for antagonizing a person, especially when you proceed to further antagonize them as punishment for them noting you're doing so. That apology is too little too late, and it's obvious you're only doing it because your actions put you in a bad light and not because you're remorseful.
"You're stupid and so are your friends and I don't want to hear either of you talk" is an insult, Louis. They had a falling out because you insulted them. You didn't "lost a friend," you pushed them away.
Insulting people relentlessly isn't "living for yourself," it's going out of your way to be awful. It takes less effort to
not do that. Claiming doing so is "living for yourself" is an admission that your personal interests include being pointlessly mean-spirited to everyone.
