I think my favorite part of tonight's show was the part when after the judge went on a rant over rich people like his client paying lawyers he said that he told that useless bitch off the record that he hadn't charged his client a dime and her expression was priceless.

Well, either that or when he said he didn't think he was going to get to 2k likes and IMMEDIATELY got 2k likes.

edit: just for the record his client's fat and I don't like her either.
Judge should have told him his legal services were worth exactly what his client paid.

If the woman wasn't a fat, disgusting heap of trash then maybe her husband wouldn't have went to banging men. She should have tried that before she stole all the money.

I'd be arguing during sentencing that she should be given probation and forced to keep working and just give me half off the top of each of her paychecks until she pays it all back or dies, but maybe that sort of thing wasn't an option. It really is a crappy situation for all involved.
This seems more sensible to me as well. I wish there were options in our screwed up system for victims to offer a punishment in lieu of what the Judge decides such that the victim could choose which they prefer. But there are probably issues with that I haven't considered.

Edit to avoid double post:
If anyone missed Nick's rant just a second ago, I can't be assed to provide you a timestamp (partly because it's impossible to come up with accurate timestamps before the stream ends), but you missed a good rant, and anyone who says that Nick's drinking is detrimental to his streams is stupid. That is all.

If you're talking about the Dizzy rant, timestamp is 2:06:10. If you're not talking about the Dizzy rant, I guess I'm in for a treat later.

Well, see, that's the thing, because if you were the victim of the guy who beat his wife/girlfriend/whatever and child with a table leg and then after that went out and got arrested for drunk driving, and got roughly the same sentence (about 4 years), he actually wouldn't serve that time in prison; he just got probation. But stealing, then voluntarily agreeing to pay back, a bunch of money gets someone prison. Because that's fair.

Paying restitution was part of her plea deal, fwiw; she didn't have to agree to that. She could've just pled guilty and went into sentencing; the court might have ordered her to pay it back; it might have sent her to prison; it might have ordered both, but not necessarily guaranteed to be both. The point, though, of agreeing to restitution in the plea, before the court could order you to, is to seek leniency from the court; obviously the court wasn't much inclined to give any leniency.

So you beat a kid with a table leg, big deal, but embezzling three hundred thousand dollars, WELL NOW! We can't be having THAT kind of thing in our civilised society. Just an example of how courts treat white-collar crime, I guess, you'd probably be better off killing a poor person than you would be stealing a rich person's money.

She says her life of crime started when her godly, christian husband decided he'd rather lay with men than be with her.

Can't say I blame him after seeing her photo.
Edit: Looks like I was clock on that comment.

I feel asleep to the stream, as I am wont to do, and his rant about being a man and how Ethan isn't etc woke me up. I wanted so bad to go back to sleep, but I was transfixed.

Rackets there's a new video angle of the assault on Dick and the same dude that broke Vito's sign is involved, his name is Joe Cristalli and he is 100% a netflix employee, he is a writer for the new fraiser reboot, is it posible to legally tie the two acts? in a couple of minutes he went from Vito to Dick, the protest was in netflix hq, in company time, and with the blessing of netflix. They also know who the manlet in blue who actually made dick eat concrete is, Dick seems to be ghatering all the info to make a police report today.I don't think peacock is still his lawyer but what do you think a legal approach to go after big netflix money would look like? Is it possible? also how can much he can fuck up the manlet that pushed him, with a legal action? (Dick has been hamming up his head injury since the moment it happened)

is it worth a cover? it would be nice to see a Dick lolsuit in the 4th year anniversary of the channel.

GO TO 1:32:00 for a quick look at the new angle and how they tried to gaslight the crowd and the metion of the rape-list from a random.

I keep seeing this repeated. It's kind of surprising to me because Kelsey Grammer has been an outspoken conservative, much to the detriment to his career, so why would any violent "no bad tactics, only bad targets"-type leftoid be working with him? Also, I hadn't heard of a Frasier reboot happening, but I looked it up and it looks like it will be on Paramount+, not Netflix. Are you sure this Frasier writer thing isn't a lie or mistake which got repeated so much that it became "true?"

He and his wife ended up nuking their socials, but before that some info in Twitter was about him and his writer job at Netflix.

3:14:34 Nick was quoting this:

Therefore, the decision to file a lawsuit should not be made hastily (Proverbs 25:8 ). Further, one ought not to file a lawsuit for purposes of revenge (Leviticus 19:18 ).

The Bible does not prohibit lawsuits. Scripture prohibits only unjust lawsuits. For example, the Bible forbids punishing someone for an act he did not commit and for which he had no responsibility (Deuteronomy 24:16).

God says Null did nothing wrong.

I want to say Nick has said none of his clients have ever gone to prison. Looks like the record is broken (if he did ever claim that).
He defended a client who raped their own daughter (sorry about pronoun fuckery, trying to be clear)... he's had clients go to prison before
