Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The union jobs haven't been good in decades. In fact, everything started to go downhill after the immigration changes in the 60's. Almost as if the market was deliberately flooded with cheap labor to destroy the power of working Whites.

(((Who))) would do such a thing though?

Most unions are dead in the water, with newer union members getting the shaft. At least that's what it sounds like for the frito-lays union and the uaw. I don't know if the Ironworkers and Elevator union is in the same boat. Last time i was with an ironworker, he was bitching that the jobs are guaranteed with a high pay but don't expect osha guidelines to apply.

She'd resign if she could find a way to make herself look like a full-on martyr, to ensure she gets re-elected to the Senate after resigning.

To bastardize a line from Lex Luthor, Kamala gave up a LOT of power to become VP and she's the type that would gladly give up the VP slot if she could find a way to come out smelling like roses and get her old life/job as Senator for life in California back. Hell, she'd probably be the type to fake a major health crisis to get out of being VP if she could get away with it.
