That makes perfect sense. As he had an odd story from years ago about how he wanted to leave Job Corps to go celebrate his birthday with his dad who was coming into town. But in order to leave he had to work the phones or front desk for extra hours past what was normally required. Josh claims he did what the woman asked of him, but then the woman lied to her superior when asked about Josh and if he had done the extra work. So the head guy told Josh he could leave with his dad but he would still need to complete the extra hours. Josh left with his dad for the day or days. This is all coming through Josh's memory and his view of the world, so who knows if this woman was malicious or just dealing with our idiot Josh.

When I heard this story I was not sure if he was adhoc thrown into office stuff for the week, or if that was the main reason he was at Job Corps.

I got wind of the Cobes creepy high school stalking from the recent discord leaks, does anyone have specific videos or at least summaries about it? It sounds fucking wild. Something about hooters and him becoming obsessed with the numbers 3 and 4, and believing she died?

Apologies, I've only been into Cobes for a couple years and somehow the whole deeper stalking lore has passed me by completely.

A lot were purged in his initial rage-deletion incident a few years ago. Off and on in still existing videos he's made mention of "women that teased him in high school!", insisting they were deliberately trying to catch his attention only to play coy about why he was gawking at them (another pattern of antisocial behavior with him) . I don't know if specifics were ever revealed, but this eventually escalated in school where Clint had to get involved after he freaked the fuck out over women -evidently Alicia Rhodey-, told him to fuck off and he got annoyed over the "double standers" of not being allowed to stare at her.

As far as the 3 and 4 shit I'm not aware. He's been infamously obsessed with the numbers but I don't know why, how it started, or how the hell Rhodey factors into it.

From my memory, she was in a beauty contest and it was something like she was number 34 and won the contest, he attributes her win to this because he saw a 3 and 4 on a garage door or something and did some circle of protect gothic wizardry and that's how she won yesssssss (PCM). This is a very loose recollection, but its in an older video that still up, maybe a bitsized one? thats all I have., I will update if I find the specific video.

I never catch the stream but the archives go on Odyssey. Someone's been posting them on YouTube too but the channel got deleted somewhat recently so they've been uploading a bunch of older clips so I'm not sure how up to date it is.

so I did some Googling and watching of videos, and reading old reddit posts. These videos especially:

Evidently, this girl he stalked in High School was in a beauty pageant (someone said it was a Hooters pageant) in which she was contestant #4 wearing a green dress, and her friend was #3 in a black dress. 4 shows that his magic is working because the hospital he was born in had a 4 on it, and cars have four wheels. And football games have four quarters. And basketball games have four quarters. This girl started dating a guy from Wyoming to make Cobes jealous, because that's where he's from.

Cobes then says the boyfriend is "built similar to [him]". GothickingOpra on reddit posted a picture of the guy, who happens to be a marine and racecar driver, with the face changed for his anonymity. This is him:

There's some other stuff but people reference videos I've yet to find, where he apparently talks about how she blocked him on facebook and he kept making alts to apologize to her "for sexually harassing her" and was planning on showing up at her house but was stopped by Clint. But again, no videos to verify.

Ngl, as hilarious as this deep lore has been to catch up on, it's pretty damn creepy even for Josh lmao
