Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

They've gone from sperging out over the fucking obvious, that Biden has dementia, to covering up that he's so far gone he can't control is bowels

Remember this?

Seriously, imagine rigging an election just so you can get some old stupid corrupt demented lying jackass who allegedly can't stop himself from sniffing girls and soiling himself as your standard bearer in office.

Also, no. You shouldn't feel sorry for Joe at all. Screw him, and the people that cover for him.

President Biden to make an appearance at G-20 summit today in Rome

On Sunday, a G-20 summit wraps up. Leaders from the world's 20 leading economies are meeting in Rome.

President Biden will attend his first G-20 summit as commander-in-chief.

He says he's working to prove the U.S. is ready to lead again on the global stage.

"If Biden is going to move past some of these foreign policy blemishes and restore trust, it's going to require more than just rhetoric touting the virtues of multilateralism," says Thomas Gift, director, UCL Centre on U.S. Politics.

COVID-19 is one of the several issues along with climate change, the global supply chain crisis and international economic recovery.

"Eight months into his presidency, Biden needs to reinforce clear expectations about what the United States wants from its global partners and what those global partners want from the United States," says Gift.

President Biden getting a win tonight - his proposal for a global minimum tax on multinational corporations is winning the endorsement of all G-20 leaders. Experts say the historic agreement could re-shape the rules of the global economy.

President Biden is meeting with some European leaders on Iran. In a joint statement, they're convinced it's possible to quickly restore the Iran nuclear deal.

The U.S. withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, how do these people even figure that this is some kind of political "win" for Biden? So your idea of a win is a completely unenforceable agreement with other countries that a large segment of the American public is probably going to just forget a week from now?

Poor fucker. How far gone and corrupt is America that their political establishment would knowingly put a potato in charge of their government?
Welcome to the Brezhnev Era lol

Lol. I'll never get tired of seeing human made district maps in general. Can we just get an algorithm to randomly generate them for us already.
Can we just have Skynet take over the planet please, my price for betraying the Human race is really really low at the moment.

So this was my state in 2016

Keep in mind, the Democrats never complain about District 9, which is supposed to be for Toledo but stretches to Cleveland and covers old Industrial cities like Sandusky and is perma-blue, but District 1 causes them to go into absolute fits. We're losing one, and I'm pretty sure 13 or 16 is going away. It looks stupid, but 1 and 2 keep there from being a perma-blue congress critter for Cincinnati by balancing the Urban and Rural populations. Ohio is very rural, which is why some of the districts are huge. The Dems could swing some of those districts if they'd stop running Socially Progressive shit heads in them. Just a reminder that when anyone complains about "Fair Redistricting" what they really mean is Gerrymandering in their favor. If the Dems redistricted it, it would be just as bad, just more focused on urban strongholds fucking over the rural population.

Not that I'm defending the Ohio GOP mind you, they're just as retarded as the state Dems, but it's just a different kind of retardation.

Sadly, optics are more important than actual accomplishments.

Now, Robert Byrd was a member of the Klan as a kid in West Virginia in the Thirties.

Bit more than that. Robert Byrd founded his chapter and recruited 150 of his friends and associates to join it.

He called it an error of youth but he was at least in his mid-twenties when he founded the chapter and ran it for at least four years as far as I can find. Certainly he was still writing stuff about "degrading our soil with these race mongrels and blackest specimens of the wild" in 1946. He only started to distance himself from the KKK when he started chasing political office and despite claims otherwise he was still found to be communicating with other KKK members after he said he'd stopped. Not that he really repudiated the KKK that much that I see. Mainly saying he'd "grown disinterested".

Whitewashing (heh!) him as "joined as a kid and it was the Thirties" ain't accurate. Also, it was the 40s. ;)

It looks like Illinois is locking in their map. It's a 14D-3R abomination. It knocks off two R incumbents and shores up a Trump won district with a retiring Democrat incumbent.

I'd actually love to understand that map a bit more. If you're willing.

Unwarranted search and seizure much? The US companies better hit the courthouses hard on this order, especially since this is gonna probably wind up invading the private lives of everyone that these companies rely on the develop new reasons to stay in business.
