Plagued COVID Conspiracy Theorists and other idiots - This is not a political thunderdome or gay slapfight thread.

I can see Candace doesn't know about required immunizations for schools that existed way before covid. But she's a grifter, and grifters gonna grift

"I don't want the gubermint forcing me to put something in my child's body!"
-The same Amerifats chain smoking around children and giving them soda and junk food.

I do think there is something to that... there are almost assuredly people who don't give two shits about Mountain Dew but hate the vaccine... But that doesn't change the fact that the government doesn't have the right to inject things into us without our consent. Say whatever you want about soda and junk food, but the government isn't forcing us to take them under threat of penalty.

This is like, gold medal point missing here.

Posting raw case numbers isn't that helpful either.

The real point is here

Nearly all the autistic screeching about ivermectin in India and 'Florida has low case counts now' (which it does) needs to be prefixed by the understanding that this followed a wave of death and suffering and the virus burning itself out for the foreseeable.

Florida's overall performance is very bad, though it would be a LOT better if the NYT posted age-normalized stats, because after 18 months of covid it really isn't that hard to model the huge extra death risk of a state full of old people, with a static adjustment based on % of people of each age multiplied by log of age X age-related risk factor

Mind informing us on this bigger plan?
I mean they wrote an entire book on it and released it summer 2020.

Have you not seen the shit happening in Australia and the EU? Canada?
How many times have “top officials” blatantly said that COVID 19 and the protocols that we have been conditioned to follow aren’t going anywhere no matter how many vaccines and booster shots you take?
There won’t be a return to “normal” and this is now a new world order and our “new normal”. I mean I’m paraphrasing but they’re blatant about it.

Hey, I’ll gladly be wrong. Please, show me when we will no longer be forced to get vaccinated anymore and when you think COVID will just be a thing of the past.
So what is this grand plan? Don't give me a link to some schizobabble, like tell us what the government's plan is and what their gain from doing so here. What does the government have to gain from forcing people to get vaccinated, other than to help slow/stop the spread of covid? Why does the government care about forcing Bubba from Bumfuck, Nebraska to wear a mask?

Never. We still vaccinate our population against century-old diseases, and with very few exceptions, all of them still infect people from time to time.

Next question?

Smallpox - eliminated.
Rinderpest (disease that infects even-toed ungulates (i.e. not humans) - eliminated.
Measles - eliminated in the US (2000; 2016) and other parts of the world; regularly returns thanks to third-world immigrants coming from nations with shitty/non-existent vaccination programmes and anti-vaxxers.
Polio - eliminated in nearly the entire world except for Pakistan and Afghanistan, where Islamic extremist attacks on Polio inoculators and general ignorance/fear of Western medicine persist. The same environment allowed Nigeria to be endemic with Polio until recently.

Some pretty big exceptions there. We can safely conclude third worlders that are too ignorant/poor and anti-vaxxers in the first world can continue to cause diseases thought to be eliminated to come back.

Some people used to do that shit.

BTW, do I count as a conspiracy theorist if my husband and I are both vaccinated, but we're really hesitant to get our kids the jab? 🤔
I hope not because I fall into the same category. Just like I wasn’t first in line to get the shot, I’d rather my kid isn’t too. She’ll get the jab but to be perfectly honest I’d rather she didn’t get it in the first wave.

Edit: I realize this is an irrational feeling, but we’re all allowed a little bit of that.
