Again...Sander was the one who injured his knee in high school and missed the big game as a result and suddenly noticed that Jeanette didn't give two hoots about him and had a meltdown about it on an early episode. Jeanette treated him to lunch and a mani/pedi to make it up to him. From that point, his and his twin's lives seemed to diverge (Sander showing blatant jealousy when Griffin got his first girlfriend; not that Sander wanted the girlfriend, but that he wanted his twin back). Seems he was on a normal college/career trajectory at one time (although I can't remember what his declared goal was), so not sure what happened to that; clearly by the time of Jazz's surgery, every moment of which he could he assiduously videotaped, he had determined to be a SM influencer. Maybe the producers of the show were the only ones who had time for/paid attention to him, so he identified with them and bonded. It seems life has gone downhill for poor Sander from there!
