Is Phil lying to try to dissuade chargebacks or is Wings just lazy in not fighting these back? I find it hard to believe that Phil’s trolls don’t chargeback at all.

at one point, it was actually financially beneficial for Phil to speak about chargebacks

let's say he'd get a $100 chargeback, he would immediately ask his viewers to basically pay that chargeback (this is before paypal decided his fate), and after basically getting $200, he claims he's at $0

he'd never mention chargebacks past this point, and when he did mention chargebacks, what he actually meant was a chargeback was initiated

during the vest streak, he was trying to hide chargebacks and eventually admitted he was making so much money that the chargebacks didn't matter (win or lose), he's still making that same level of income right now

conclusion: Phil thinks he has fuck you money

Member when DSP threw a temper tantrum because there was a part in Lost Judgment where you had to dress up a girl to seduce gang members for intel? Apparently this was completely out of character for a 'serious detective RPG.' The same game where the protagonist is in a dance club for high school girls and the player has to complete rhythm mini games. For some reason this does not draw any ire from the pigroach for tainting his immersion in the game.

He's always complained incessantly about them and of course scrubbed it away in places where he's had a live presence. But up until now he's tolerated/been too lazy to get rid of them in all places. Now for some reason he's suddenly putting in serious effort (for him) to purge them everywhere possible, like every tweet and youtube video has to be completely clean now. At a serious cost to engagement.

What is he hoping to accomplish 10 years after he lost his rep?

At this point it has to be the ego. He really is so fragile that he feels the need to incessantly surround himself with positive affirmations. He could do so much to make money/grow off of some of the negativity, but he'd hurt his pride. He'd rather play chill games with a dead chat and collect disability.
