You can only be mayor for two terms in NYC. It's actually pretty recent: they passed the referendum in 2010 during Bloomberg's third term.
de Blasio claims he isn't ruling out a governor run, but I have no idea what he's going to do next.
Eric Adams won the Democratic primary a couple months back, and NYC isn't voting another Republican in for mayor any time soon.

What was your reasoning on voting no for Proposal 5, the court jurisdiction one? That one seems like the least politically-ideological and most to be actually beneficial for the majority of people. Were there politics behind that one too?
