Rosemi announced her pet hamster passed away yesterday. It seems she found out immediately after her Halloween collab with Pomu.

She says that when she moved out into her own place, it was her hamster that made the place feel like home to her. She won't be taking a hiatus and instead made the (perhaps misguided) decision to segue straight into Sonic Adventure 2.

This retard is demanding that Phase Connect issues a statement and trying to drag Pippa into this mess, and also Froot from VShojo for no reason like an attention whore. This "guilt by association" mentality is absolutely gross and is a goddamn tumor on the mind of modern internet culture.

I don't even particularly care about them hating on Kiki, it's whatever, I dislike a good handful of VTubers for various reasons. But dragging Pippa into it because of a collab is dirty, and trying to poison the well on future collabs just makes them look petty and spiteful. If you dislike someone, don't watch them, it's not rocket science.

She's basically the Vtuber equivalent of a clickbait

>Hyped to hell and back by Domo and his circle, she was everywhere from Reddit, Twitter or Youtube during her pre debut
>in addition to the hype, took 3 months to actually debut, which generated more hype
>was revealed right after Gura, again, riding on more hype

Come debut time, she wasn't prepared, was boring as shit and did nothing of note that could catch the interest or attention of people during debut.

Also a personal issue but I hate Vtubers that flip flop between 2 streaming sites during their fucking debut. Either choose to debut on Youtube or do it on Twitch; Artemis did the first part on Youtube then the 2nd part on Twitch, so people who were late or caught her live halfway through wete basically fucked.

I'd give Artemis credit though, she knew how to build up hype and she cashed into it HARD. She basically waited until she was monetized until debut and got rewarded for it.

On a closing note: Artemis is a masterclass on how to generate hype and also proof that a good model is not the end all be all for a Vtuber to gain lasting success

I doubt she's being completely genuine with the transphobia and homophobia either (exaggerated) but idk how much of a joke it is and if it's at all based in genuine beliefs, which I think it partly is. I think it's awful, but then again I also fully believe in "you don't like it you don't have to watch" people tend to grow out of phases like that. Trying to cancel somone cause they say something you dont like, or cancel someone for collabing with said person is incredibly cringe.
