Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? For some very odd reason in-person votes get counted faster than early ballots which means McAuliffe will probably rebound after Youngkin initially seems set to win. So don't cheer yet.

That red county next to Richmond, Chesterfield County is interesting me. It's been flipping between blue and red but right now Youngkin leads 51% to McAuliffe's 48% there.

I am trying with great difficulty to prevent myself from huffing too much hopium. I didn't think Youngkin would get a 10% lead in the results at any point past, like, 7:10pm so this is a bit of a surprise for me.

Our Govt is illegitimate. Therefore I have no duty to participate in it any more than I’m forced to by threat of imprisonment. If voting were compulsory under threat of incarceration like paying taxes is, I’d participate. Otherwise I’m not going to waste my time just so I can go online and brag about performing my “Civic Duty”.

My duty is to my family, not the State.

Youngkin's killing it. Too bad McAuliffe is going to take it... by Friday. Saturday the latest.

Doom memes aside, this is a great showing overall regardless. If McAuliffe wins at the end of the week, you do a disservice to not show everyone that Bob Beckel clip.
