Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Twitter is not real life. Hollywood is irrelevant. Those Obama salad days will never return. There is still a hell of a fight ahead, but for tonight, cheers faggots.
Exactly, The importance right now is to delay the Democrats, to stall things out until the mid-terms and for the Trumpian populism to flourish. A Trumpian populist getting in power would be nice, but unnecessary in the larger strategy.
These two points cannot be emphasized enough. The war is far from over, but the fact that we've won the battle is an immense white pill, at least to me. All I can say is the Twitterati/journoscum's tears are gonna be delicious. :unholy:

Crazy how close the people who said Youngkin would win by 2% were lol
The pollsters, for once, were not gay.

In the past 10 minutes we've gone from 2600 precincts to 2700 precincts done. It's basically over.

When this baby hits 95% you're gonna see some serious shit

The DNC reaction to tonight regardless of a victory or loss in NJ is going to be fucking amazing and I suspect it will be the blood in the water needed to get people frenzied against things they have let slide for roughly the last two years.

Two weeks to flatten the curve? Going to see some serious flattening and anyone standing in the way is going to long for Jan 6th. This is the down on the pendulum and bitches better start ducking.
Oh fuck, I hadn't even -considered- that. Ho fuck. I was wrapped up in surprise I didn't think.

When the infrastructure bill dies, the Cabal War is going -nuclear-. If even lesser strongholds like Jersey can get this close, fuck if it -falls-, then that is a -ton- of normally safe seats and positions at risk.

These two points cannot be emphasized enough. The war is far from over, but the fact that we've won the battle is an immense white pill, at least to me. All I can say is the Twitterati/journoscum's tears are gonna be delicious. :unholy:
Not only won it, but won it ahead of schedule. By a year.

The pollsters, for once, were not gay.

They hedged. Plus, they were still coming out with bullshit Murphy+11 polls.

GOP pollsters saved the average somewhat, but it was still Murphy +7.

Update on NJ?

more or less tied with only a quarter of the vote out. Enough left it could go either way.

The midterms will absolutely be a bloodbath, but is there a small chance that the Dems look at what's happened tonight and go "holy fuck we need to change something" or are the Dems too far gone now? Maybe tonight will change the midterms from a bloodbath to a simple ass kicking?
It would certainly make sense for them to change their approach but the problem is that they're in a civil war right now so if any Dem leader tries to make changes to the platform, it'll open them to attack by another faction.

For example, let's say that Pelosi comes out and says that the Virginia election and the Loudoun County controversy in particular show that the Dems need to take a less hardline stance on transgender issues and consider multiple perspectives. The progressives will go ballistic and say that she's literally murdering trans people and she needs to be replaced with a prog. Same deal if they try to soften the "abolish police" language. If they try to back down on vaccine mandates, the pharma sponsors will be pissed.

But this looks inevitable anyway, since Pelosi won't be speaker for much longer the party is headed for a vicious fight over the platform. The progressives are really an albatross on the Dems because they exist in such an extreme ideological echo chamber and have no idea how the majority of the country thinks. In the coastal urban bugman hives where progs get elected no one ever utters a word against eternal mask mandates or Drag Queen Story Hour so they can't grasp how anyone could oppose those policies. Ultimately they'll lead the party down a suicidal path.

So, here's something interesting in Buffalo. I've never seen anything like this before.

In the mayor race, a Democratic Socialist woman India B. Walton upset the incumbent mayor Byron Brown in the Dem primary. So Brown decided to launch a fierce "Write in" campaign to keep his job. Somehow it's working, because Brown is winning. There is no Republican candidate.

As anyone ever lost their party's primary and then won the general election anyway? I'm sure it's happened before, but I would think it's rare.

The question is through is it too late. As in have people already made their minds on the dems
People that speak for 8% of the population are going to drag a major political party that has existed for two centuries to destruction, what a truly exceptional group of individuals.
