Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

They were both passed
NY Proposal 2 (Constitutional amendment guaranteeing right to a “healthful environment”): Passed 61.1% to 26.9%
NY Proposal 5 (Increasing limit of monetary limit for claims filed in NYC civil courts to $50k): Passed 54% to 31%
Well 3 out of five not passing ain't too bad. I'm happy my vote effected something. How bad will proposal 2 be?

Salem has dropped with 90% in its ciatrilli is in the lead there. With that Murphy has effectively won Southern Jersey in a competitive environment.

78% of the vote is in and Ciatrilli is ahead by one. Both Passiac and Bergen have flipped red. Murphy needs a nice big dump from Essex right now.
I just checked and Passaic has only reported 60%. I don't expect it to stay Red.

We have calls from MSNBC, CNN, and FOX.

Unfortunately, Fox called Arizona for McAlliffe. It's over.

It's officially over.
I'll admit to getting all my knowledge on it from NYT but it sounds like the language is going to be a problem. "Healthful environment" is incredibly vague so it could lead to a bunch of stupid lawsuits
I guess we will have to wait and see

True. I wonder. How are they dropping ballots this year? Election Day votes or mail in or a combination?
Couldn't tell you that, but Politico apparently reported Sussex as 100% reported and going full blue, but with only 10,000 votes counted. Sussex has a population of around 250,000, so that's clearly bullshit.

Looks to break down 50/50, without any sort of tie breaker setup. This is... probably less disastrous than federally. Plenty of democrats who squeaked in who will seek to go across the aisle.
