Crime Father 'killed his daughter's boyfriend, 19, by stuffing him into the trunk of a car and repeatedly stabbing him' - after discovering he'd sold her to a sex trafficking ring: Body was found after a year

  • John Eisenman, 60, is charged with first-degree murder and jailed in Spokane
  • Aaron Sorenson's rotting corpse was found in car's trunk in the city last month
  • He allegedly sex trafficked Eisenman's juvenile daughter into Seattle last year
  • Eisenman rescued daughter Oct. 2020 and then went after Sorenson, cops say
  • He stabbed the teen to death, stuffed him car trunk in Nov. 2020, it is alleged
  • Sorenson's body was only discovered last month, leading to Eisenman's arrest

A father killed his daughter's 19-year-old boyfriend by repeatedly stabbing him and then stuffing him inside a car trunk after finding he'd sold her into a sex trafficking ring, detectives have revealed.
John Eisenman, 60, was charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond at Spokane County Jail in Washington.
Aaron Sorenson's rotting corpse was found in the trunk of an abandoned car on East Everett Avenue in Spokane last month, police said on Monday. Detectives believe he was killed in November last year.

Eisenman discovered in October of that year that his juvenile daughter had been sex trafficked into Seattle by Sorenson for $1,000, according to a police press release.
He was able to rescue the girl from the city and bring her back to Spokane that month.

He then learned that Sorenson was going to be at an address in Airway Heights so he drove there and waited for the 19-year-old to arrive.
'During that encounter Eisenman abducted the victim, tying him up and placing him in the trunk of a vehicle. Eisenman subsequently assaulted the victim by hitting him in the head with a cinder block and then stabbed him repeatedly, causing his death,' police said.
'After the homicide, Eisenman drove the vehicle to a remote area in North Spokane County and abandoned the car with the body still inside.'

The car was left in the countryside until last month when someone drove it to Spokane and left it on East Everett Avenue. Officials said they do not believe that person knew there was a corpse in the back.
The body was found when people began searching through the vehicle.
Amber Hellmann said her boyfriend and another friend said they noticed the car had been there for a while.
'They were just looking around and for some reason, they decided to look in the trunk and all I hear is, 'there's a body,'' she told KHQ-TV.
Police said Eisenman was arrested and surrendered to officers without incident. Prior to his detention he had no recent violent criminal history.

Yeah, I can't fault this guy one fucking bit. I know if something like this happened to one of my kids, I would be incredibly hard pressed not to do the same. Hopefully this guy get the Plauche treatment and only gets probation. Fortunately the boyfriend isn't in a protected class, so he has decent odds of that. At the very least, this man can rest easy knowing this scummy fuck will never do that shit to anyone ever again. He made the world just a little bit safer.

Trust me I agree with you 100 percent. Of course you are free to disagree but this is the way I see it.

Of course the guy is a scumfuck bastard cunt who should rot for eternity. He quite literally probably permanently traumatized that girl. He deserves punishment for sure. But the thing is his was not given out justly and if you don't care for him (I certainly don't) it was his family that is truly wronged in the situation. It is almost certain he had a mother, a grandmother, a father, a grandfather, or maybe a sister who loved him . Imagine if you were his brother, or if that was your son. You'd surely want him to be punished (At least I would), but you wouldn't want him to die. This is why the Justice system is so important, because it ensures both parties are addressed and compensated to the best ability of the court. Even if he was given the death penalty, at the very least his loved ones could have said goodbye. I know it's asking alot to emphasize with a scumbag, trust me I struggle with it too, but ultimately if this was your flesh and blood I'm sure at least 95 percent of us wouldn't want them to die for their crimes but be punished properly under a set of standards and procedures rather than the actions of a single man.

And yes, I would want this fuck to die too, but I think a right to a fair trial is an important one. He can die under the law. I know you also argue the legal system isn't perfect, but surely you must agree with me it works better than usual mob trial or vigilantism. There have been people wrongly killed by vigilantes before for example.
Imagine being his mother and thinking if it had been his sister he had sold rather than his girlfriend.
That's all it'd take.
If they'd parented right he wouldn't be fucking SELLING HIS GIRLFRIEND INTO SEX SLAVERY. This isn't being pissed drunk in public on a tuesday morning, or selling drugs, or even unarmed robbery. It takes a lot of parenting to go wrong before your kids do some absolutely amoral shit like sex trafficking. If they fucking cared about him, he wouldn't have done this at NINETEEN FUCKING YEARS OLD.
Edit: If this were to ever happen to a hypothetical child of mine, I'd mostly be wondering where the FUCk I went wrong.

Didn't the father get off free because the jury actually had a brain in this case? After this much time I can see it going either way, but :optimistic:
Suspended custodial sentence, probation, and community service. He took a deal to plead no contest. The deal was on the table because they knew what was going to happen if the decision came to 12 jurors.

He got a suspended sentence, 5 years probation, and 300 hours community service. So not exactly scot free, but about as close as you can get to it for premeditated murder that was broadcast on live TV. He considered it a fair trade and never had regrets.

I'm not sure I buy the sex trafficking part of the story. That seems a bit sus.

I also want to know how someone was able to get a car abandoned for a year to start, let alone drive it away. You'd have to think that battery would be dead as shit. Which I suppose someone could have jumped it, but that's quite alot of effort, to steal a car. But it doesn't explain how the tires were likely very flat by then, nor does it explain the fact that that gas had probably gone way bad.

Weird story all around.

Can't comment to the rest of it, but the gas going bad doesn't mean it won't run, just means it's going to burn really dirty and gunk up your engine from prolonged use. I've had a car sit for over a year and it was still able to turn on, tires weren't flat either, they were a bit low, but still technically drivable.

Just can't have shit in Spokane.

What about the battery? Someone replaced the battery to steal a car, before even checking the trunk, to just drive it into a neighborhood, and abandon it?

Go look on youtube for car restoration videos. There's guys who get vehicles started and driving that've sat for 40, 50 years without being touched.

Generally you see if the engine will turn (rotate the fan one full turn with your bare hand, it'll tell you if it's seized), rap the carburetor to free the needle and seat, bap the starter with a hammer to free the bendix gear so it'll engage, put a battery to it, crank. If it doesn't try to start, check the solenoid. If that's good, pull the distributor, check the points. Emory board the points, check the contacts. Pull your #1 plug cable OR your main lead and then check for spark. If all of that's good it should at least crank. One year isn't enough for fuel to completely go bad (you don't want to run it forever, but it's enough to go some distance).

As to the tires, again, cars parked for decades still have tires that'll hold air. One year is nothing in terms of parking a car, then driving it off.

Old gas can most definitely prevent a car from even starting. It can also be possible to start a car with bad gas, and have it die shortly down the road. Perhaps that's what happened and why it was abandoned. This problem is compounded if the car was last fueled up with gas containing ethanol.

Fuck this guy.

Fuck his family too.

Seattle, last year? Tell me law enforcement was going to do shit.

Go ahead. Fucking tell me that LAST YEAR law enforcement was going to do anything at all.

Last year there WAS NO FUCKING LAW in Seattle. Spokane wasn't much better.

His family wasn't fucking wronged. His family raised a piece of shit who trafficked a girl for $1000.

And no. Last year? I'd want him to die.

Fuck his loved ones. He forfeited that shit the minute he trafficked someone's kid.

All lives are not equal. All lives are no worthwhile.

And if it was my kid who trafficked someone, I'd have helped the guy hide the fucking body.

Batteries can last 5 to 6 years if you buy a decent one. It's certainly well within the realm of possibility that the battery held a charge. Also there's decent odds on it just being some dipshit who took the car for a joyride, so they weren't really concerned with what was inside.

While old gas can cause issues long term, it's less common for it to prevent a start altogether. With a spark, enough ether, and an adjustment to the idle settings I can get anything to run if you can still light the gas in the tank on fire. The ether and a jumpstart box can also be shoplifted from the same place if your budget is tight. This is Spokane we're talking about, tweakers and junkies are like ants there. It's easier work than chopping catalytic converters off and buys a lot more drugs.

They'll be fixated on getting the car away first. They'll park it publicly for a cool off period to see if there is any activity. They probably got to where it was found, started going through it for shit to pawn, and promptly dipset the second they found the body. Ideally it'd have ended up in a compacted scrap steel cube after the car is towed as abandoned and unclaimed. Even in this case, it took an entire year. That's not that bad for just parking it somewhere.
