Obviously /r/BreadTube was going to be at the very top but... there are no overlaps with /r/PhilosophyTube, when I know for a fact that a lot of Nyk's groupies post there as well. So what happened here? Is this list doctored? Did Nyk and Oliver's stans split into separate camps? Or are /r/ContraPoints mods banning anyone coming over from /r/PhilosophyTube to avoid drama? Anyone have an idea?

All I know for sure is mention of Contra is censored on PT's YouTube and unofficially on his reddit (where he both posts regularly as a mod and as himself, castigating his thirsty fans for mistakenly using they/them pronouns to describe him, etc.)

So yeah I'm gonna go with Censorship.

I mean, she's not wrong. As a former (20+ years clean now) addict myself, I can say for certain that dope was never my problem. Lack of dope was my problem. And all my other problems came from the daily climb/scam/marathon of banal and filthy adventures and crimes to get more money, more drugs, to keep the sick away.

But like....just ftr this isn't an original thought. Burroughs and Irvine Welch and many others have expressed this much better than either me or Nat.

The part about the new video being more emotional....yeah, I agree that sounds like an ego-trip. I'm remembering Olly's most "emotional" [-ly acted] videos were all the Cosmonaut ones (about depression, suicide ideation, domestic abuse and his fake non-dysphoric transgenderism). I wonder what this one of Nat's will be about.

NGL, I will be actually interested if it delves into something like addiction or mental illness but again....she needs to credit the people who's ideas she'll be presenting.

What woman in her right mind would want to date a man whose fetish is doing a 24/7 minstrel show of women? Even if someone could look past this at first it would become grating over time, having to date a man that prances around as his sexist idea of what a woman is so he can jack off to it later.

All that being said, I heard hot women that look like Natalie Portman LOVE post-op "trans women". I'm being 100% sincere here, Contra your success in dating women will completely change around if you get bottom surgery. You should absolutely go for it, it'll change your life for the better. I can't believe you're still holding off on that.

This pseudo-lesbian lament from Contra is just depressing, I try not to have too much sympathy for grown adults who willingly and consciously ruin their lives but there's just something so dark and foreboding about an alcoholic, 33 year old, functionally unemployed 6-foot something man who mutilated himself with hormones and botched his face with surgery, living all alone in a mansion, telling an audience of one million something enablers/paypigs that he is a lesbian woman. Why is western society enabling the delusions of those people?

And the fact that this is the person mainstream media marketed as the rational, sane counterpart to someone like Jordan B Peterson (who's still a put together academic in spite of his faults and shortcomings and obnoxious fans) is ridiculous and hilarious in hindsight.

Hell even The Golden One is doing better for himself. He wrote a book, got married, and has a daughter.

It’s really astonishing that he got FFS already (and quite awhile ago now) and is still having so much turmoil and questioning surrounding transition. And at 30-something years old.

Really makes you think why people are reluctant to let kids start altering their bodies with hormones and surgeries, huh Contra? Maybe the next time Oliver starts bitching about wait times at the NHS for the millionth time, you should rock his world and temporarily break your “no contact” rule and tell him that wait times are good actually.

But anyway yeah, the FFS further complicates detransitioning, let alone all the hormones. It’s almost like having a mental breakdown then getting hormones off the internet and declaring that you are a woman and carving your face up was a bad idea.
