I agree that they oppose US hegemony, since they want global power for themselves, but they're starting to pick up on how China can't really be appeased forever. They spent years trying to work with China to access their markets, knowing full well that if they didn't serve China's interests, China would just steal their IP and freeze them out. The public school system rapes kids at a higher per capita rate than the catholic church. Let me be clear. When I ask, "what did you really win?" I'm asking about the reality on the ground, not perception. I do not consider a real victory of the safety of children when the "We need to make sure kids can go to public school in person again" stance is the one that the opposition is wearing. The hopium from people in this thread has made pointing out such a distinction "doomerism" and "black pilled".

I just heard a part of Youngkin's victory speech, he wants to vastly increase school funding and do "public school choice". If your conviction is on protecting children, this is only going to affect perception. It's not going to be the salacious boy in a dress, just the usual child predation that your children must navigate by state mandate. Noting this, is recognizing where we currently stand and how far we have to go. Not "doomerism".
