I don't know if i believe they can herd their cats into doing it again. Youngkin ran on populist issues (CRT, education) and said that 2020 was stolen. it didn't sink him, it put him ahead. these ideas are extremely unpopular. McAuliffe only improved performance over Raplh northam in th election precincts that were directly adjacent to the DC border. every other county and precinct he lost hard.

At least T-Mac is lucid. Biden is not now and there is still 3 years to go.

The fact that Newsom did NOT win that recall based on their framing of it as a Democrat versus Trump era GOP and a weak ass CA GOP with over 70 percent saying NO to recalling him, means they are cracks even in California.

Its just that the four major cities in California masked how much have Democrats lost people supposedly when traditional right wing conservatives are leaving in droves.

I don't disagree. However, as someone who prefers direct accelerationism I'm willing to test the third option of seeing if people can do a turn around and curb some of the left's actions. Personally I think long term it's just another can being kicked that's going to end badly for the children and our future's children, and in the end doesn't solve really anything either, but I'm willing to see if it can expose any more weakness in the democrat party. It has to some extent which is a good thing when evaluating the enemy, and curbed some victims which is at least a victory, it's nowhere near the end of the battle, or the war itself.

I also disagree with the claim "you're dooming" I see exactly what you are pointing at that long term this doesn't really accomplish much, and that's true, but we haven't seen the full game plan. In regards to the normies they will never wake up. That's just how that works, but if those standing against the left who are aware or finding more solutions that's a good cause. I doubt we’ll be seeing much at all of Biden in the coming weeks. His numbers are in the shitter, and his Eurotrip and even SCOTUS set to knock down the TX Heartbeat Law aren’t enough to stop his slide after losing VA and almost losing NJ when he, Kamala, and Obama all personally stumped for McAuliffe. Add to that the fact that his BBB and Infrastructure Bills are now DOA and I think he’s going to bottom out in the mid-30s and sit there. Not much point in getting infront of cameras or out of the White House only to have folks shout “Let’s go, Brandon” or “Coughing Fit, Pants Of Shit” wherever he goes.
