Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Question. Does the vaccine mandate theoretically apply to employees who work from home or could it? I don't mean "should it" I mean could it. I'm probably getting fired from my job anyways since I've had to take an entire week off unplanned due to a medical issue but am just curious.
It will. The goal is to reach 100% vaxxed, and that means homebodies too.

If they go below 100 people, they're going to hit a lot of manufacturing and construction companies who have both been ignoring a lot of the mandates already and are predisposed to dislike OSHA. And also have access to backhoes. Sounds like a winning policy to me.

How many OSHA agents are there anyways?
Well the issue there is that the company would get fined.

But if people banded together to greet these people with bats at workplaces where they DONT work.... Scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

They could use the Guard in “Blue” states, no prob, but what about in a “Red” state where the State Gov is adamantly opposed? Can the Feds activate a State’s NG unit against the wishes of that State’s Govt and then turn that unit against the State? That’s something that’s never been attempted and if it ever were I see that effort failing massively because the Guardsmen would just end up fighting amongst themselves.
The NG can be federalized (it was in the Civil Rights era in some states in the South) but that's opening a huge Constitutional crisis, far worse than anything that happened in the Civil Rights era. Trump, for instance, didn't want to federalize the Oregon NG during the Portland federal courthouse siege because it's just that big of a step.

Okay sure, maybe we who oppose a nonsensical vaxx are equivalent to a Southerner who didn't want to see negros and whites in school together or negros at the voting booth, I know some people here equate the two, but somehow I expect this time it won't go over well.

They’ll tell you that they’re the “best and brightest”, educated in the finest institutions, that they’re our “betters” and we’re all just their “lesser-thans”, but they’re too dumb to see this when it’s staring them right in the face.
As somebody who was educated at one of the most reputable and oldest universities in the world,* I can authoritatively say that there are a lot of dumb people in academia.
*It's reputable and old, not Oxbridge/Ivy League level though. I'm not that cool!

It’s quite the opposite. The Guard was used in the CR Era to forcibly grant access for certain segments of the population. In this case, the Guard would have to be used to DENY access from certain segments of the population. We’re not the Segregationists in this situation. The Feds are, and they’re backed up by the full force of the US Govt. It’s pretty easy, then, to figure out who we are in all of this.

google tells me there's only about 2,100 OHSA inspectors. I've always heard hearsay that it would take the agency something like 200 years to properly audit all current existing companies, since they're stretched so thin

this reeks of the same ideocracy that shut the world down without thinking about any of the possible consequences, like all the non-Covid deaths caused by putting everyone on house arrest and denying them all non-Covid medical care for a year

Diverting OSHA from enforcing important shit like fall protection or flammable hazmat storage, to dumb shit like vaccine compliance, is probably going to lead to a bunch of safety violations. Most of those will probably be petty, but some will undoubtedly be serious issues that result in injury and death. I doubt there's going to be any sort of net gain in safety in this, given that most workplaces aren't retirement homes full of Covid's primary victims

Just for the record, this is literally unenforceable on a practical level. What they are hoping for is to use fear and coercion to have businesses enforce it for them. And personally, I fear that most will cuck out, because I fear that most Americans are unwilling or unable to quit their jobs over this.

What’ll actually happen, we’ll just have to wait and see. State governments will absolutely be the first line of defense, so watch out for what DeSantis and Abbot’s response will be.

Many will, most might, but there is no way that everyone does, which just sets up the nightmare scenario for the Admin of having an incident where they escalate to the point of violence broadcast across the entire Nation

Sure, 25% of the Nation would cheer it, or at least not have a problem with it. But that still leaves 75% who would recoil in horror from their TVs at the sight of Feds beating on factory workers and God help us all if a firearm is discharged by any member of either side.

...and you would be correct.

However as cucked as we are now, I am still confident that all of this ends when they attempt to force this on children. There are many things I will shamefully subject myself to that WILL NOT be permitted to be done to my children. This is not keyboard warrior shit, when it comes to my children, the empire will not be accommodated, its as simple as that.

All of this from a nursing home patient that shits in his pants, it would be amusing if not so evil.

I won't quit my job over this. That's dumb. They'll have to fire me.

That also includes remote work-from-home jobs. A lot of office jobs insist on doing the training at their location.
I don't entirely work from home, but if I can delay getting my documents checked until I'm in the office I can probably pull another few months of minimum possible work for maximum possible pay.

They'll just put you on "indefinite leave" so they don't fire you. I guess at that point it's up to you to find a way to get fired like "occupy the office until the police drag you out".
You have to admire the balls (idiocy) of actually going through with this 48 hours after your party was absolutely massacred nationwide.
That's exactly why they did it now since they'd have lost Virginia and probably even New Jersey by even bigger margins.

Makes me can't wait to see 2022 and the bloodbath
