That's what my white liberal friends keep telling me: I'm too stupid to realize that the Republicans are racist and/or I've been "tricked by their lies."

The way I've always seen it is this:
Are there a lot of genuine racists in the Republican party? And I don't mean occasionally saying "niggers" tier racist, I mean people who actually want to return to the Old South and feel that melanin makes people less valuable as humans?
Yeah, can't deny that much.

But the difference is, that group among the Republicans is actually kinda small, they're loud and visible, and you can easily avoid any troubles with them simply by not engaging them in any way.

Contrast to the Democrat party, whose featured members used to be made up of actual card carrying KKK members and their ilk, and whose constituents are "woke" in the sense that they want to be able to turn on Netflix and see The Last Supper reimagined as featuring brown skinned danger haired trannies - but that's about the extent of their tolerance on race. It only extends to how people of other races benefit them and their ideology. And this is... much, much more widespread among Democrats. It's a hidden kind of racism where they'll be your best friend as long as you stay on the plantation, but as soon as any minorities buck the trend, the individual members or subgroups among those minorities are brought to heel. Dems LOVE Hispanic voters - but only the Hispanic voters that vote blue, they fuckin hate Cubans. Dems LOVE black voters - but only urban blacks who probably went to an inner city high school and don't have much education in politics or history to begin with and thus don't recognize political fuckery and usury when they see it. Educated blacks who hold conservative values? You see the attitudes they're launching toward Winsome Sears. The most "offensive" thing the woman has said was that she loves America. You'd think the Dems would LOVE her, because she represents a lot of what they supposedly champion. Here she is, a black woman, an immigrant from another country at that, and she has achieved upward mobility in politics and in some ways is even performing on a national stage despite being in state level politics. But they hate her, because in her own words she doesn't credit that upward trajectory of her life to "well the Democrats did this and this for me!" she bluntly says, she just worked hard and took advantage of the opportunities were in front of her.

Idk, I am not a POC myself, but if I was I'd much prefer the party that had a few loud rednecks who say nigger a lot and who I could avoid if I so desired to the party that had the bulk of its people view me only as a tool for their own purposes, a dumb stupid tool who should only perform that one function and then shut up. "devil you know" logic.

Regarding hiring discrimination, it seems much harder to go after a case of hiring discrimination because if you go after the recruiter who told you about the required vax mandate, they can argue it's not their fault because they didn't set the rules for the clients workplace and the client can argue that they shouldn't be responsible because they don't pay you, the recruiter does. It's a mess even for someone like me that has a temporary medical exemption. This doesn't even consider the fact that if I sue a recruiter for discrimination, I'm dead since my career is based heavily on recruiters. Shits rough and seemingly designed to have you seething.

I've been musing on the idea that maybe the mandates aren't really about Covid, or even Big Pharma. It's about 1) punishment and 2) fear mongering.

Taking @Gehenna's premise that CNN is also their political advisor, the Biden admin believes that only Trump supporters are refusing the jab. Ergo, they must be punished. The only way they can do that is threaten their livelihood. The absolute lack of acknowledgement of the other groups who aren't taking the jab and how these mandates are unenforceable is so obvious. They're even destroying their legacy of being tough on Covid by trying to force the "idiot rednecks" to take the vaccine. It's nonsensical, and what someone who is really, really, really mad and scared would do.

2) Covid isn't the only thing they fear monger on. Their entire platform is fear based. Look at Cher's tweet--you'd think anyone who didn't vote dem was a bigger monster than Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot put together. I think she really believes that. The propaganda maybe has worked too well in one direction and failed in the other.

Of course Big Pharma, the health system, and politicians are benefitting from all of this. I'm just wondering if that's more of a side effect than the motivation.

And to this day... I STILL see Youtubers who I genuinely like any other time smugposting videos of "Karens" and "Darens" who are against masking and vaccines.

I have never been more grateful to work in an very conservative field, at a very conservative firm, and even more grateful that recruiters have been hitting up my LinkedIn once a month for the last year and a half despite the fact that I have not tagged myself as "looking for work".

I don't see my company giving a mandate, but if they do, I don't have to stick around and I know for a fact I'm not the only one who feels that way.

This guy is like Trump. I LIKE this guy. Here's why: He seems to be starting the shitposting Trump Style. Haven't heard his speeches yet, but Trump's speeches always got roasted by the MSM and elites. He talked like a bumpkin. He shitposts. He's "Unpresidential."
And it resonated...with the WORKERS--the people who run the country and make the money. He began to question me and that was that he left and haven't heard much from him since.

If they go any further than just questioning or debating you or being a little angry, then I don't believe they're friends more than cultist filing under pretense of friend to abduct and brainwash more into their group.

He was one of the primary sources of the Steele Dossier. The walls closed in on Trump so hard they're actually closing in on the people who made up the Russiagate bs against him in the first place.

Basically, what this guy's arrest relates to is the Steele dossier. Danchenko was one of, if not the primary source/s for that document who, as I just posted, was arrested for lying. Apparently he's also been suspected of being a Russian intelligence agent before.
