They did not have permits/reason to do it, now that Endwalker is coming and already have Square permits what better way to start the second wave, RIP the servers tho

Servers will be fine because SE actually spent money on the Japanese ones. It's EU and NA that get their shit pushed in on release day.

But also, I'm pretty sure Fubuki is an endgame player, so she's playing later likely to prep for Endwalker.

What's interesting to me is the fact that there was a lot of hype surrounding HoloEN getting the permits for FFXIV, with IRyS saying on Oct. 8 that she was super excited and was asking other members if they would be interested in journeying with her. Over a month of silence later, it's starting to feel like she couldn't find enough people who particularly cared. I'm sure they'll strike when the iron is hot around xpac release but I expect that to fizzle out.

Plus, the thought of multiple HoloEN members together in a public MMO space at the same time sounds like a disaster in the making. Ina playing PSO2 was enough of a shitshow.

Kronii's singing one of the most heart-breaking song from original Nier and I just fucking died.
Kronii singing a song from NieR reminded me how much I like this game, how it hurt me emotionally and how melancholic it can get about passing away. Thank you, Kronii!

I think nobody posted the blessed english conversation between Subaru, Korone and Ame yet. The duck is giving her best
I loved this clip. Subaru can communicate better than Korone, which is a shame really, as Korone was probably one of the first holomem to announce she's taking English lessons (real ones, not the ineffective yet obligatory school course). It's a shame really that Korone and Marine's English has no noticeable progress for months.

Meanwhile Nene
I remember someone's saying that Nene's roommate is going to reveal her test results regarding the stomach pains she was having - do we know anything about that?

EN also has the permits, people is dreading the return of Ina, the most powerful of the bunch in FFXIV

She did reveal it on her roommate's fanbox account, but it's behind a 5000 yen paywall (she justified putting it behind a higher price because it's "heavy").
I posted about it here a few days ago asking if anyone has that level of subscription, but it doesn't look like anyone has.

Sad thing is I really do kinda feel for Zen. People shit on them a lot but afaik zentreya hasn't really done anything "against" anyone, just cause inconvenience with reschedules and annoying people, right?
Idk it feels like zen has some legit mental health issues and is kinda losing the group of friends they were comfortable with. Last year before it was "vshojo" when it was just a bunch of streamers hanging out they had some issues still but it seems to be a constant thing since it became more organized toward a business model. I could be wrong, idk I think zen is having more meltdowns though because they don't feel their previous support group is as accessible to them, which is understandable.

She did. I think her English is now the best out of Japan-born holomem, besides Haachama - maybe dropping talents in the middle of New York for a couple of weeks is the best way to get them to speak communicative English?
She only stayed there for a couple of weeks school exchange. Then this got transformed into a lot of people thinking she lived there for some reason.

I'm not familiar with production, but is there any case where a TTS is preferable to a voice changing program? I just can't imagine it's worth the awkwardness when you could just blast your voice to make it unrecognizable.

I watched like one Zen video and tapped out because the TTS was grating.
