If it were any other grown man, I’d agree with this wholeheartedly. But this is Peetz, who had two things going on in his sad little life: his cat and sperging about comics on Twitter. Add in his clear depression that was severe enough to interfere with his job and his totally shut-in nature and he’d likely be very upset about the cat. I doubt he’d wake up needing to be comforted or have a heart-to-heart, but it would have meant much to just know that his best friend had stayed in for his sake.

Point is, it wouldn’t have killed Chantal to just do what she said she would do: spend one evening at home. Or at least not post Nader’s latest diarrhea dish on IG. But Chantal didn’t feel like following through with what she claimed she was going to do, because she did not and continues to not give a fuck about cats, Peetz or anyone who isn’t her.

Agreed. I hope Peetz wakes up from what very well could be a depression nap because his pet for half his life just died, sees Chantal isn't home and knows she ditched him to get more diseased dick, and it finally clicks how shit she is.

I also hope Peetz at least stayed in the room with Timbit while she was put down. Animals always seem to be aware somehow of what's happening and it makes the process that much worse that they're alone.

Peetz is a manchild who is probably relived he doesn't have to clean up after his cat anymore. His main worry was finding a place that allows him to bring his cat when he moves for a Library job. I don't understand the chimpout even tho she drove his jobless ass to the vet and paid for the vet.

Lets be real, do you think Peetz would be talking to her right now or in his room, sleeping, or as usual, medicating his brain by mindlessly consuming media as usual?

I hope Nader turns her into whale sushi, that controversial Japanese delicacy, with his fancy new Chantal-purchased knives.

It would be even nicer if it were Peetz doing it, but either one of them is more than welcome to carve her up. "Yes I miss her too but I need to eat dinner" perfectly captures everything psychotic that she is. I shouldn't be in disbelief, but I am.

Such a great business move to hear the concerns of your audience, the people paying your entire way through life AND making it financially possible to hang onto your money-hungry boyfriend, and reply back with “then don’t watch, fuckface.”

Her actual vile personality really contrasts well with the desperately sugar-sweet “you VIBs are soooo important and special to me!” lovebombs she does every now and again.

Chantal really makes it clear that she thinks her audience exists to amuse her, as well as give her money. She doesn’t grasp that as the entertainer, she is the one expected to perform. And if your audience doesn’t like what you’re doing, calling them fuckfaces isn’t going to change their minds.

Were I inclined to feel charitable toward Peetz, I'd suggest that he means that he doesn't want to read the messages because they'll cement the reality that his beloved goodgirl Timbit is truly gone forever, but he chose the absolute most autistic way to describe how he's feeling. Sometimes people with autism (and others with affect issues, or just those who never learned to let themselves feel their feelings) deal with this kind of thing by pretending it isn't happening. It's part of why autists seem so cold or flat to the normalos. Peetz could just be using denial and withdrawal from the world as part of a coping mechanism. It would be in character.

Since I'm not generally inclined to feel charitable toward Peetz: fuck that guy, and he handled this like a total chode.
