Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Or just the continued kickbacks. This bill is largely just making good old promises. I mean, it provides a small bump in Political Capital, but... not much.

The main thing was the progs were holding up this bill to get BBB to a vote. Which they've already done by getting Pelosi to schedule the vote.

If the progs kill this, it would be because they want BBB to pass before infrastructure.

That's a lot of why I have such a feeling of unease. I never, ever trust these people. If they're putting so much on this one bill, something that everyone *thinks* is just a non-issue...that tells me there is something in there that they are hinging on, something that is essential to getting what else they want, beyond just "Manchin won't vote on the other bill otherwise." There is fuckery going on here, I feel it.

Of course it passed, they needed a win to erase the smug of the Republicans after they won Virginia, wonder how much money costed

No, this one does not. It is -not- the big infrastructure bill, it was a massively cut down, cut up, and pasted version of RINO wants that started in the Senate that was meant to be the prelude to the BBB infrastructure bill. I legit thought it passed months ago, for some reason it was held up till now.
