My work place has said jack nothing about the potential vaccine mandate, which is surprising because it's as pozzed as the average global company is. I wondered earlier if it was due to my location [the great red state of Texas] but the only thing that I can find is that you can stop wearing a mask if you are vaccinated that was in a newsletter back when the jab first hit the scene. We still have the paper masks (lol) for employees that "aren't vaccinated" and you can decide if you want to wear one even if you are vaccinated (lol).

Meanwhile, my mother is in the hospital because of an abscess and everytime they try to culture the bacteria so they can treat the damn thing it throws a completely different result from the last time. At any rate, she's stuck there for the time being until someone figures out why (agar batch is probably old is my guess).

Well what do you know? I walk into work and they lifted the mask policy so long as you’re vaccinated or have already had COVID. So for now, I don’t need a mask or vaccine to work.

It’s not ideal, but there’s still hope.

I wonder if it would be recommended to take Pfizer's drug and molnupiravir at the same time to avoid resistance. There's no trials doing that, but who has that stopped before?

30-40 pills over 5 days, that's a lot of pills. I agree, I'm sure they will combine them both for 70 pills in 5 days. You're going to learn what it feels like to be an aids patient. I wonder how well your liver handles all that extra work? The grift never ends.

Note- I am starting to notice fourth wave mania creeping into the fringes of the media, and that infection rates seem to have bottomed out in the US.

I do expect some element of this fourth wave to be real, from seasonality, the fact that the vaccinated are all out and about and mingling, and from the consequent effects of ADE.

I would probably suggest that people get their prophylactics and early treatment medication in order, and avoid unnecessary public mingling over this winter.

I was at my local county elections you know doing the official business as a pole worker. Some big fat fucking Karen comes up to me And reminds me that there's a city wide mask mandate despite the fact that there's a statewide mask ban. And told me I have wear a mask. I told her is it enforceable do you have the authority? Does the city law trump state law? can you point to the actual edict or ordinance? She gets beat red in the face hands me a mask and goes well you really should be wearing it it saves lives I'm like you don't know that you know that I'm sorry you don't understand that simply putting a piece of fabric over your face doesn't magically ward off the shanghai shivers. Anyways the other poll workers look at me in confusion. Later on After not wearing it all day. they started taking theirs off the other Pole workers that is. People need to start standing up for themselves.

City next to me (Waltham) let the mask mandate die. Picked up an order at Wendy's there earlier today and only ~1/10 people were wearing a mask.

Day one of the reinstated indoors (((mask mandate))), went to different stores and there was a distinctly different atmosphere compared to the previous/initial (((mandate))).

Previously I was usually, but not always, the only one to not wear a mask and would generally get reprimanded for it at least once by some faggot Karen or teenage employee.

Now all of the staff are wearing their mask but at least 50% are only sort of wearing it, having it dangle off their chin or "just" covering the mouth. As for the other patrons I am now joined by ~10-30% of people in not wearing the mask, depending on the store with another 50% of the people who are "wearing" it by having it dangle around their mouth and chin like the staff.

Disappointing on the one hand, encouraging on the other. I wish nobody would comply but I do believe that this is basically their last hurrah when it comes to the masks at least.
