I cannot stand Sander. He's desperate and his incessant need to be shirtless is embarrassing. However, I find it both hilarious and disgusting that the Twitter mob is going after him because he's not sure if he would have sex with a trans person without surgery. The guy posts pro-trans stuff all the time (I know it's weird) but they will never be satisfied until you want to fuck them and treat them as "real" women, even though they're not.

I think the puberty blockers have left him too retarded for any of that, but maybe he could do early child development and go into childcare? I'm not knocking those people, but it's more accessible than programming or bio.

Every child that comes into contact with most members of the Bloshinsky's Jennings' is going to get brainwashed and/or trooned out. Jeanette would probably love to have more kids to destroy & abuse. The Jazz project turned out to be a complete failure but another child would mean another troon 'journey' and a new chance of a better outcome, media attention & $$$.

you can't win unless you're a trans woman of color, and even among them there is a weird hierarchy where the least educated, least civilized, and least able are supposed to be elevated (because of being poor, non-gender dysphoria related crazy, or disabled). What sander needs is a therapist before he ruins his life any harder for parental approval.

anecdotally it seems like there is usually a 50/50 split in dysfunctional families among the kids, like about half seem to stay and get mired in their parents bullshit and half seem to leave and become people who are intentionally different than their parents were.

I can see him fitting in with younger kids, who always have multiple care givers around for safety so no one can be too horrible... and maybe being able to do something like teach social skills to mildly autistic children. the real problem is I don't think he has any career aspirations at all. I don't think he even is interested in having a job. Why would he want one? He just exists and TLC writes checks for getting to film it.

He is interested in dumb shit like psychics, and other than that seems to be completely materialistic. I said this in the past but he was groomed to be a housewife, but since he is sterile and sexless there is zero chance of fulfilling that unless a truly unfortunate guy was willing to marry into the family for money.

I don't think the Jennings would try to troon out more kids: it's more like they would be unable to content any natural autism that kids have.

Say, a kid tells them "I wanna be an elephant!" and I can see them looking for ways to indulge on this rather than do what most normal parents would do, entertain them for a moment until the kid forgets what s/he said.

This behaviour is not exclusive to the Jennings, though. Seems like a lot of modern parents think that telling your kid "no" will completely broke them mentally because they really don't know how to deal with them as most modern child psychologists don't know either.

"Mom, I wanna be a power ranger!"

"Really? well, you'd have to move to Japan, aren't you gonna miss us? That's pretty far away."

"Mmm..."

"I can get you the toy and a helmet, though, that way you can play here at home!"

"Ok."

I almost wrote a paragraph about why that difference matters in the post and decided against it. I'll spoiler the sperg.

Yes, narcissistic, borderline, and antisocial personality disorders are heritable because personality is heritable to a pretty large degree, and these PDs are defined by having extreme manifestations of specific personality traits. narcissists are unlikely to seek out psychiatric help. That would mean something is wrong with them, which is antithetical to their disorder. They aren't on heavy doses of drugs unless its strictly for fun. The people around cluster Bs always have their lives ruined in some deliberate manner. It is horrible. However, they can often appear normal on the outside.

People who are mentally ill like jaron don't have that luxury. They usually struggle with severe side effects from increasingly sedating drugs. Most of them get fat. Some develop tics or other visible side effects. Their lives are ruined in a different way, generally by accident (like a depressive episode or a delusion that leads to danger) or inappropriate methods of self medicating. That's what you see in families with severe (non PD) mental illness running through them. They end up in the ER often. Schizophrenia and bipolar are 50% heritable because the genes that cause dysfunction in the brain are easy to pass on and only require one copy to become active. It is a different thing with different outcomes and different problems. Most depression is mild, but those who have treatment resistant versions are also in a bad spot. Putting shitty unfixable people under the same umbrella as people who can have okay lives if they just stay on their meds & go to therapy is a mistake of classification. People with one kind of problem don't genetically pass on a different kind of problem that they have never had. There are some kinds of mental illness that seem to share a genetic basis (think autism & adhd, or anxiety & eating disorders), but PDs and serious depression/binge eating are not and example of that.

I agree with you, It just proves the point, though, that there is nothing you can do to satisfy these people. As much as I can't stand Sander, I think he's likely a decent person. But that's not enough! He has to want to have sex with men or else he's misogynistic. I can't wrap my mind around this.
