that's why I can kinda get watame getting a bit pseudosocial with her viewers. bigger question is if it's a longterm solution or just a bandaid.

It can be a bandaid if you never get to a position to then work on yourself both mentally and economically. Its ok to have a place to retreat to whenever shit gets rough IRL but when things IRL don't improve and you only rely on your online fans/followers shit can get bad as people online come and go.


In Pippa's case, she seems to be doing poorly on both aspects and each aspect seems to be affecting the other one. She won't get better mentally until she leaves that place and that same problem in part is also affecting her income as she has had to cancel streams because of the whole roommate problem.

Next time she streams I'll send something her way if she doesn't or can't go to the kitchen so she can buy a rice cooker and a microwave, the staples of poor eating. Rice cooker ($20USD for a cheap model but I prefer the Japanese brand Zojirushi around $150~USD) can cook rice and steam veggies at the same time, and the microwave cooks everything like frozen precooked chicken, even bird prisoner if things are that rough. You can also buy a hot plate to cook raw chicken, don't have to leave your room. A bucket and soapy water changed every 5~ days for cleaning your stuff.
