The new cope with the liberals I know is "He split from the group! He wanted to be attacked! He instigated it by intentionally looking like a target!"

Like....what?
It's internally consistent. Remember they were saying that open carrying counted as a violent threat ergo warranted self defence?

I believe he realizes how absurd the sequence of evens unfolded, but does not understand how badly it reflects on him.

Like a highschoolers who gets dragged into the principal's office, but tries to laugh it off as a silly misunderstanding.
Yeah it cane off to me as a cringe of 'are we fucking retarded?'

I just... Like dude I try to assume 99% of people believe they're good people doing the right thing.

But these people are claiming if you're not rioting and alone you should be beaten to death by rioters and it's justified. I don't see how they can see that as the right thing in any case. It's kind of horrifying tbh.

So, what is the defense going to do when its their turn to call witnesses at this point?

What in the prosecution's case is even left standing to use your witnesses to destroy?

Decided to check what Twitter was up to with the trial, and the Lügenpresse is in full swing.
