Here's the incident in question.

Kyle is on the ground
1) shoots at dude booting him in the face
2) shoots someone striking at his head with skateboard
3) shoots guy who pulls a pistol on him
I love how they all bitch out as soon as they hear shots fired and one guy puts his hands up like "Okay nevermind, we're done, someone call the police"

he was charged with a felony but it was dropped. Something to that effeect. he was Concealed carrying with an expired license which should be a fine or whatever, but they didn't give him any.
So he wasn't a convicted felon prior to the events in Kenosha? I swore I read somewhere that he was.

God damn it. We already saw the video and know it's exonerating. Wtf does pros think it's magically going to start showing what they want it to show?

I'm a little concerned by how lightly the judge treated someone filming the jury. What if they had been livestreaming (and how do we know they weren't?) It would be too late to do anything about deleting the video. I also can't tell if the videoing of the jury is the same incident as referred to at the bus stop (do I remember that right?) this morning. Is it possible there have been two attempts to leak the jury's faces? At least we're not getting the same level of media complicity in doxing the jury as with the Chauvin trial where you had MSM outlets printing things like "age, sex, profession, enjoys motorbiking, husband recently passed" sort of detail.

Someone asked me to feature this so I guess I have no choice. How fucked is he?
Illegal possession charges might be dropped as a matter of law. The wording and interpretation of that particular law is in dispute.

Yesterday was arguably the worst day for Binger:
Grosskreutz was an unmitigated distaster for the prosecution. The imagine they painted of him fell completely apart on cross, so did his version of events.
Admitted to lying to the police right away. Testified that Kyle wasn't antagonizing anyone on previous encounters. Testified that he feared for Kyle's safety when Huber attacked him.
Admitted that Kyle didn't fire until Grosskreutz pointed his pistol at him, point blank.

The detective who later testified confirmed that the DA ordered or advised him not to execute the search warrant on Grosskreutz's phone.
That one was a thing of beauty, implicitly putting Binger on the stand for meddling with the investigation. Something the defense had apparently been setting up for a while, as they'd previously drawn a lot of attention to it.

Previous testimony: Rosenbaum was on and off meds for bipolar disorder, threatened to kill Kyle or Balch of he got either of them alone, yelled "fuck you" and lunged for the weapon.
DNA expert testified that the evidence could not rule out whether Rosenbaum or Huber had grabbed the gun, that the barrel hadn't even been tested, and agreed that the video evidence did indeed show Huber grabbing the rifle. Essentially rendering the whole DNA narrative pointless.
All of these were witnesses for the prosecution. A good chunk of their testimony ended up supporting the defense.

Thing is, if there's a mistrail, that just gives pross a redo. i think the judge should to do a directed verdict if the jury was intimated.
