Declare me janny because:

1. I will do absolutely nothing with my position. Post as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. Meanwhile I'll just be lurking and posting carefully here and there and logging in for like 1 hour a day, business as usual for T.E. Bogey. If I use my powers at all even once please demote me.

2. I don't understand the hate for A&H, it's like a dumb meme. As long as the Cat Party threads keep coming and the Deep Thoughts threads keep dying after 20 posts alls right with the world.

3. The sheer shock value of choosing some obscure rando over a 90,000 highscore oldfag from 2013.

Let's be real... A&N is not the most well liked section of KF, so it gets shat on constantly. Having someone that legit hates the board be a moderator is the worst thing that could happen to it.   • "Muh Hugbox" - except there's like 4 or 5 of them on here as well outside of A&N. One of them if I remember from someone else is hidden away from everyone else that isn't a T&H member. Don't fucking pretend A&N is the ONLY one on here.
  • "Politics Bad" - except your dear leader spews out /pol/ tier hot takes in the chat constantly, so don't label every A&N member as evil when the fucking owner of the site does this shit as well.
  • "Everyone on A&N is a lolcow" - three words... Isabella Loretta Janke. That entire section got nuked to Spergatory because people in that section were being huge fucking speds, one of them a fucking janny of that board.
HK-47 was a good mod. He was into the topics that were going on in A&N, mostly kept hands-off, and when he did have to get his hands dirty he made a specific section to move of-topic shit to. That, in my opinion, is what every janny should strive for... being an exception to the stigma of what a typical janny is.

In short, HHH is the kind of person who seems like he'd run gay ops across the site if given the chance, at least where his politics is concerned, and the more mods who are like him the faster this place will become SA 2.0. Or Reddit. But those who are like him would be cool with that because politics.

The whole "not moding for their team" aspect of the mod criteria is a bit lost on a lot of people I guess. Null's not exceptional, though. He keeps certain people around because seeing others get upset in certain contexts is funny to him (see: that one CCP shill who expertly manages to rustle other peoples' jimmies for China's glory) but he won't mod someone who's just going to give him extra work. Kinda defeats the purpose of mods.

As for who I'd vote for: probably Flexo. Dude's funny, doesn't derail threads and he's got a kickass goatee.

I nominate myself, I am here often enough to be able to help out. I don't care enough about anything to have biased opinions and I don't remember who's who so I don't hate or love anyone.

Unless it means that I have to read every post in every thread there.

- Users cannot ignore you.*

Burdens of being a mod:
- Users will hate you and openly resent you regardless of what you do or do not do.
- Users will not report posts and then become upset that you do not delete posts that they think cause low quality threads.
- Articles & Happenings is literally unmoderatable and is basically the comments section on Infowars.
- You will not be compensated in any way.†
- You will burn out in 6 months and simply vanish.‡

* This was a common complaint with Zed and OwO.
† You do it for free.
‡ This has happened to every A&H mod without exception.

In general we need a light touch who is not emotionally invested in "their team" to issue threadbans to keep threads on track, board bans to keep the signal to noise ratio down, and who can FEARLESSLY communicate concerns directly to me.

Use Agree/Disagree on posts nominating people so I can get a feel for things.
